I'm sorry about Neuling's dog, he (the dog) looks to have been a cute little guy. That doesn't justify a reckless accusation of political terrorism, however.

Note that there is no forensic or physical evidence of poisoning, no mention of a necropsy or of chemical testing on the alleged meat bag, both of which would be fairly simple and appropriate given the gravity of the charge.

The only evidence is the bereaved owner's belief that "it's beyond coincidence that the day after the signs were put up, the dog was ill."

Actually, given the number of people who set out signs during the month preceding an election (millions) and the number of family dogs who will become ill during the same period (tens of thousands at the very least), it is inevitable that many people around the country have had their dogs get sick and later die within one day of the sign being set up. Were they all poisoned by Rovian terror-squads? Have no McCain supporters anywhere also lost their dogs?

The only "news" here is the absolute, unsconcionable and probably willful gullibility of our yokel media. Even that is not news to most of us.

I agree. It sounds like political parties, msm or other are trying to egg people on.

What’s interesting is that the dog’s death will result in a tidal wave of sympathy from the left. They don’t care much for babies, but the left loooooooves the animals.

The power company cut off my power because I support McCain and I did not pay the bill.

I got a flat tire and I have a McCain sticker. Isn't that proof that I was sabotaged? Where's the media to interview me?

I'm sorry about their dog too. This just doesn't sound like an anti-Obama thing. People who don't like Obama are rational and clear-thinking. There is no logical purpose to this act.

It sounds like yet another case of liberal projection. It's something they would think of doing. So they assume others would do the same to them.

The next morning they discovered their dog Jude was sick. Last Thursday, Jude died.

I’m afraid that’s the way the world works.

besides, why would a republican poison a dog? you’d think they’d try to put lipstick on it to turn it into a hockey mom.

Did anyone see Neuling poison his own dog so he could make this false claim? No? Well then, there’s just as much evidence it was done by someone over the signs.

Media that ran this tale should have been more balanced. Had it been McCain signs, you can bet if the story was aired , they would raise the “did it himself” accusations.

The dog looks like it could have been one of those annoying little yappers that bark incessantly at all hours of the day and night. Pet owners rarely admit that their precious darlings ever do anything wrong or cause annoyance to neighbors. There may be something other than Obama hatred at work here.

Perle Burris fed him a bitter pill....
Those of You that have seen “Greater Tuna” will get that-
Those of You that haven’t seen it...by the original cast...get it on DVD!
Pretty funny stuff , amazing wardrobe changes.

Jude died of embarrassment. What self respecting dog wants to be seen hanging around a yard with signs supporting a candyass?

Bump that. I often wish I was the kind of person who could murder barking dogs ... but I'm not, so I just bitch. My cats and reptiles never make a ruckus when people are trying to sleep!

Don’t you know? They don’t need any evidence to blame McCain supporters.

I wonder if he watered the sign and was killed. Something like “off with his head”. ;0)

Funny....I liked that one.... I was going to say he was chewing on the OB sign after all the neighborhood dogs used it as a fire hydrant!

"Note that there is no forensic or physical evidence of poisoning, no mention of a necropsy or of chemical testing on the alleged meat bag..."

That was my first response. Too easy to blame someone else without providing evidence. We're all evil Republicans you know.
