At least he admits reporters try to inluence elections instead of just reporting on them.

Some of the things the left have no fear of voicing in public these days are very troubling. This would be grounds for dismissal in any respectable profession.

Influencing elections or not, first off why are they all admiting their sick little fantasies or most likely nightmares?

I reported on candidates professionally and fairly, even though some of them didn’t deserve it. It CAN be done.

Not surprised by this. He’s a reporter. . .a bad one for sure. I’m not certain there are any journalists anymore. Print news is basically the authors opinion.

How shocking, a Big Media reporter in the tank for Obama (gasp). I not only condemn the media for their outright bias in this and all the other elections for the past forty years, but I also hold them responsible for spreading the lie about the “wild” “crazy” “bloodthirsty” crowds at the McCain rallies. They’ve attended those rallies, and they know no such things are happening.

He wanted to “date” Rudy?

reporters arent just covering a story, theyre a part of itinfluencing outcomes, setting expectations, framing candidatesand despite what they tell themselves, its impossible to both be a part of the action and report on it objectively. Um.. can we say the same thing about pollsters ?

The Taliban disguised as journalists “took out” Masoud in Afghanistan September 9, 2001. Could that be his role model?
To: chessplayer
Objectivity is a fallacy. In campaign reporting more than any other kind of press coverage, reporters arent just covering a story, theyre a part of itinfluencing outcomes, setting expectations, framing candidatesand despite what they tell themselves, its impossible to both be a part of the action and report on it objectively. Did someone slip this little turd some truth serum? First he admits he wanted to physically assault Rudy Giuliani, then he spills the beans on the entire MSM by admitting they're all hopelessly biased.
Now we know what the McCain/Palin bus should serve to its press contingent.

America is about to become a one-party state and the mainstream media will just be the propagandy ministry of this state. No wonder they want to ban talk radio and the alternative media. They will also try to censor conservative views in the print media.
