I have posted about our beginnings before, but I don’t know where the thread is. Basically, I started FR in Sept 1996 to fight against Bill Clinton. I’d been a regular poster on the Prodigy News BBS for a few years, but had recently been introduced to the Internet and thought that we’d have a much wider readership and a freer hand here. Prodigy was a relatively closed system as you had to be a paid subscriber to read or post. And it could be quite expensive if you were a prolific poster like me. Anyway, we’ve been here ever since. Some successes, some losses. Praying for success in November!
