One radio talk-show host said it perfectly : ‘The media is trying to destroy her now because if they don’t, they will have to deal with her again in another 4 years.”

Factor in the Bradley effect (called by some the PC effect) and you have an additional four point lead.

From the Campaign Spot on National Review:

Pretty Good News For McCain, Worrisome News For Chambliss

Hot off the presses, er, phones, a bunch of Strategic Vision polls that for McCain are okay news, good news, good news, and not so bad news.

In Georgia, the poll was of 800 likely voters.  It shows John McCain with 51% to 45% for Barack Obama.  In the Senate race it shows, Saxby Chambliss with 46% to 44% for Jim Martin.

In Florida the poll was of 1200 likely voters.  It shows John McCain with 48% and Barack Obama with 46%.

In Ohio the poll was of 1200 likely voters, it shows John McCain with 48% and Barack Obama 45%.

In Pennsylvania, the poll was of 1200 likely voters.  It shows Barack Obama with 50% and John McCain with 43%.

A bunch of polls have put Chambliss barely up lately...
