Havent we all been told that the coverup is worse than the crime? This sure looks like a coverup and it portends what this man would do in any other uncomfortable situation he finds himself in.

The converse argument is also true. If you find yourself on the receiving end of a conspiracy theory, the best strategy is usually to stonewall.
