At the risk of being seen as not helping John McCain and giving up, allow me to take you on a little tour of the electoral battlefield today.
If there are any sharp objects within reach, I suggest you move them. Better yet, put them under lock and key. I am about to crack open the gates of hell and give you a peek at whats inside.
As The Dead March from Saul plays on my headphones, I am forced to report that John McCain is approaching Dead Parrot status in the race for the presidency. The campaign is trying to convince us that John McCain is actually alive and still breathing while all other signs point to him being an ex-presidential candidate.
Dont trust the polls? I wouldnt either. In fact, a good case can be made that almost all the polls are undercounting Obamas support and the Illinois senator is even further ahead than the polls indicate. (Read this piece by conservative political guru Michael Barone on polls.) This is because there seems to be a truly remarkable and historic dynamic at work in America. Early voting in states like NC, FL, and Ohio have shown extraordinary turnout among African Americans and the young, voting for Obama by huge margins (Pew has this early voting 58-34 for Obama while Zogby gives Obama a 21 point lead nationwide among early voters.)

I guess this is before that woman was attacked becasue of odumbos hate speech
Same time, same bat channel.
When you come to a hill, do you give up and turn around? Or do you put forth the extra effort to make it over the hill?
And Bush was not a great candidate for us in 2004, yet he still kicked Kerry’s ass.

Reposting negative crap from Obamatons is a waste of time. McCain is going to bag FL, PA and a whole bunch more. No way Obama gets close to 50%. Hillary kicked Obama’s arse in loads of states. Many of those Dems will not vote for Obama.
Volunteer and contribute. Ignore crap like this.
GOTV this weekend - no whining.
I'm so depressed, I already voted absentee! For Mac, Sarah, and Joe (the Plumber, not Plugs)!
The concerned sigh posters will be gone Nov 5th
No, I suspect he’s hoping that the rest of us will. Gotta love all of the concern trolls that are flooding out of the woodwork in these last few weeks before the election.
The house won’t be that bad as most seats are heavily gerrymandered anyways but the senate. Black turnout is going to put our southern senators in trouble. We already see chamberliss and mitchell way too close to the margin of error.
Again, this is all due to not defining the financial mess right away which the top of the ticket should’ve done. Now its too late and everyoen thinks fannie mae and freddie mac is the fault of republicans.
If we lose it will be John McCain’s fault for wasting time in washington and not attacking Barry to begin with in the first debate about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Were you alive during 2004? This is just a rehash of what we heard during early voting about Kerry’s lead, in fact, do you remember election day 2004 and Kerry’s exit polls declaring him a winner? Polls are polls are polls. They may be right, they might not...they don’t change anything. I can’t see why people are so consumed with polls. You vote, you make sure your friends and family vote, and either McCain wins or Obama wins...bottom line.
Good grief, the newbie trolls are crawling out of the woodwork tonight.
Thank you!!! This is why I Freep...may God bless all you wonderful Freepers...keep liberty alive!
I think STL’s handle needs to be correct to
St Louis Jacka**
That would ensure proper party ID. St Louis Jack** is the 8% Conservative voting Obama I see in every poll internal. They must have seminars at the Obama website on propagandizing.
I’ve read some helpful facts indicating black turnout can’t increase too much BUT still seems to me that in a close election Obama is going to get an increased African American vote and that will make the difference for him. Haven’t seen a current poll yet that puts McCain ahead, although I am still hoping. So at best it looks like we are in a close election, and there Obama has a huge minority edge.
But we shall see. McCain Palin are fighting all the way and there is no reason to be negative about them. Still, that doesn’t mean they’ll win.
Your posting history shows you only post negative stories, and the other day used a KOS term, “diaries” when referring to your posts.
check out his previous posts, they’re all gloom and doom
I think we need to see the Viking Kitty on this one... relatively new poster and link to a blog with no page rank.
You haven’t been here long, but you’re fast becoming one of my favorite posters.
You have been an asset to Free Republic since your first post.
Plus, anyone who knows Fletch as well as I do, is okay in my book. :)
