So are you saying that he’s acutally pulling lower percentages or that the polls are projecting he pulls lower percentages?

Also, if he does actually pull lower percentages, I think that deficit will be made up for in some way by the volume of the African American vote

I’m saying he is polling lower than Kerry or Gore. Given that typically African-Americans do NOT vote in higher % than anyone else-—a little lower, I think, but check me on that-—he should be polling 95% now in order to get an 89% turnout.

Gotcha. I am curious to know the actual African American turnout percentages historically though. African American’s are voting early here in GA in droves. The question I have is, is it the same votes being cast earlier, or is there a real subtantial uptick in AA Turnout percentages.

PS How did it go last night? I know Palin was there.

I think we all deserve a better discourse here, bud.

I find your concern for the level of discourse here touching.

How did we all get along for the past ten years without you?

Palin, great rally in Troy, but even more impressive last night (or night before? lose track) in AKRON, which is blue, blue, blue. Had 20,000, which is like 20,000 Club For Growth guys showing up to hear Ralph Nader.

Why am I not surprised this poster would find such a negative article?

Yep. One of them with a recent born on date.

Well, most people are probably a little more respectful. Since I wasn’t here, I can’t attest to what the past 10 years have been like, but I’m hopeful that the next 10 years are even better. Shouting down opposing viewpoints (on polls!! mind you, NOT philosophy) isn’t going to do it.

Perhaps it is the well deserved perception that you specialize in negativity?

There's a lot of data floating around out there and you consistently seem to cherry-pick the worst.

You know the reaction you will get, but you feign indignation when you are called on it.

That strikes many people (including me) as a bit trollish.
