Maybe Pinch will finally get the boot. It’s a mystery how he’s been able to go on so long. Maybe it’s because the next generation of Sulzbergers appear to be just as dumb as Pinch. Maybe the stockholders will finally be able to take control of the paper, replace the editorial page writers and install a credible CEO.

Socialists are not good at making a profit. To quote Barney Frank “Don’t worry there are still lots of rich people out there we can tax”. When given a choice to spend money on socialist programs people just say no. And the Times is just that...A Socialist program.

Here are a few interesting (and “I’m shocked, shocked!” to tell you
UNDER-REPORTED news tidbits from the MSM Deathwatch...that I
stumbled across in FR’s archives as I did “due diligence” to avoid
a double-posting of the downgrade of NY Times to “JUNK”!!!)

Granted these are from about 2 years ago...and maybe these dino-stocks
have recovered.
But I ain’t gonna’ waste time researching these losers.
Too much GOOD beaten-down stock is available on the NYSE and NASDAQ!!!

Not to worry, in an Obama Nation, NYT will be subsidized because it is too important the “Fair” news coverage to fail.

I thought it was a bottom for the bird cage, didn’t know it actually had some adds in it.

Don’t think it has too many...

thanks to all respondents...just had to mention the NYTimes junk status
to the forum.

If you don’t see it in your local newspaper, it may indicate they
are too dependent of the news service from the NY Times.

And/or, their reporters don’t want to jeopardize any chance they have
of one day working at The Old Gray Lady.

In other words, their highest “professional” aspiration is to be
a high-level “presstitute”.
Not just a low-status prestitute at a small-circulation rag.
