Barack Obama has reserved part of Chicago’s Grant Park for Election Night festivities on November 4. According to the Chicago Tribune: "The large public space between the Loop and lakeshore also hosted a papal visit in 1979 and a Chicago Bulls NBA championship celebration in 1991."

I thought they might do something symbolic, for the POOR. Booker T. Washington complained that FREE MEN, in 1862 from the plantations used to spend their last dollar on a cigar, buy a Lincoln Hat, and pay the carriage driver to go past 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. As they passed by they would greet Mr. President Lincoln as they drew smoke from the cigar, tipped their hat, and go home to a leaky roof and an empty pantry.
This is nuts, and dangerous. The election even most honest Obama supporters would agree is gona be close. This could be a real disaster.

I heard he was reimbursing the city $2 million for the party. That’s nice but are you going to reimburse the families of the police officers if they’re hurt/killed by friendly or unfriendly riots? Are you going to reimburse the business people who can’t get home to their families because of the traffic mess your little party will cause? What about all the litter that liberals are supposed to be so concerned about? And how much energy is this wasting? How many extra millions is Obama spending on carbon credits? Is he offering free food for the homeless?
Where? Not here. Happened forty years ago. Never Again.
