My hubby think that's exactly why Obama is ahead. That people want socialism, want to be taken care of, and don't care who pays for it. We see the entitlement attitude being taught in schools and hear it from a lot of people who consider it a 'right'. But I dearly hope he is wrong.

I know where you are going with that but here is the problem with that line of thought.

It was just destroyed only a couple of weeks ago.

How many congress men got in trouble for advocating a huge bailout? Most.

The problem is the five dollar bill syndrome.

Throw a five dollar bill on the ground and everyone will reach for it. It's that simple.

Ask me if I want a 10,000 dollar stimulus check(or even $600) and most people say yes bring it on! It's the money for nothing syndrome. Always looks good until the bill comes due. And it always does.
