The election’s commission?

Have they seen his birth certificate?

No?

Then they need to butt out.

As Bill O’Reilly said today on Fox and Friends.....

“If you are not on the Obama train, they will come and get you....”

So then rather than fight on the merits of Berg’s allegations, they prefer to fight on technical “standing” “no harm/no foul” strategy?

What does that tell you, folks?

Obviously we are getting a lesson on what happens when a country is no longer a nation of laws.

U.S.Constitution be damned.

“Berg hasn’t demonstrated how he personally would suffer”

We will all suffer.

The motion, filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Philadelphia, echoes one filed last month by Obama and the DNC that states Berg hasn't demonstrated how he personally would suffer even if his ''ridiculous and patently false'' claims were true.

We all suffer when the constitution is trampled.

Show the birth certificate and the whole problem goes away.

There are a few reasons why I can imagine Obama wouldn't:

1. Original name was Saddam.
2. Hawaii birth certificates back then had a religion and Islam is checked.
3. Kenya is not a Hawaii county.
4. A little rope-a-dope to keep the Republicans focused on this issue only to release a birth certificate right before the election.

Aren’t these people supposed to look out for us and make sure elections are legit?

What standing does the FEC have to intervene? I thought they are supposed to be neutral insofar as partisan politics is concerned and rule on whether a candidate follwed the rules in campagin finance.

So... I guess this means that you could be a Moslem, highly-placed al-Qaeda operative with Bulgarian citizenship and links to Russian and Chinese intelligence, born in Mozambique and educated in Venezuela, with a wife and kids in Malaysia and draw a salary from the Syrian military, and no one wants to know about it - provided only that you can get the American MSM and enough moronic, would-be voters behind you. Personally, I find the whole thing a little surprising.

How has this issue been allowed to slip under the radar for so long? If Obama wins the election, will it even be valid if he was born in Kenya? Or will that be when we are told it's time to ignore the rules of the constitution? Then the Fairness Doctrine goes into effect and we are now ruled by our new dictator.

If this story were about McCain, you can bet that the press would be at McCain’s typical white grandmother’s side seeking a deathbed confession of his true birth.

::::sigh:::: This is never going to go anywhere. Even if Obama were born outside the U.S., that does not mean he isn't a citizen. And the BS about his mom only being 18 when she gave birth to him so she does not meet some criteria about living in the U.S. for a certain period of time is stupid as well.

This guy is only succeeding in looking like a lunatic.

Rush DID sort of hint to this yesterday. He said (paraphrasing) “Obama is in Hawaii to visit his sick grandmother or for some other reason.”

Philip Berg...has no standing to make the claim, according to the FEC.

I don't have any legal or constitutional training but it seems to me that by this 'logic' no one would have a right to ask for evidence of citizenship in this particular situation, so wouldn't that render useless the relevant constitutional provision?

With the FEC joining you would think that is reason enough for the press to now cover this.

“The Federal Election Commission has joined Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee in asking a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a Montgomery County attorney seeking Obama’s ouster from the November ballot.”

I’ve lately been wondering if somehow I fell through a dimensional gateway and I’m now in an alternate universe. I mean, is it not the FREAKING RESPONSIBILITY of the FEC to ENSURE that NObama is eligible? And instead they’re FIGHTING such discovery?!?

Get out there and vote, it may still be possible to save the country!

McCain/Palin ‘08!
