Palin Supports McCain’s Plan for Amnesty for ILLEGALS

Palin addresses issues on television interview

Republican Vice Presidential candidate and Alaska governor Sarah Palin addressed issues yesterday relating to Latin America, including Hugo Chavez and illegal immigration, in her first interview with a Spanish-language network. The interview began with Univision anchor, Jorge Ramos asking Palin to clarify recent statements she and Republican Presidential candidate John McCain have made, characterising Senator Barack Obama’s tax proposals as “socialist”. Palin denied ever having called Obama a socialist directly.

The interview quickly turned to US nemesis, leftist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who has repeatedly claimed the US is planning to attack Venezuela. However, Palin said military action was a last resort. “We hate war. We want peace. “We want through negotiation and sanctions if need be to put pressure on a dictator like Hugo Chavez, to let them see that they will not mess around with America the way that they want to,” she said.

The governor also addressed illegal immigration, saying she and McCain supported a two-pronged approach of securing the border and then working with undocumented workers already in the US.

“There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant - there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants.

“We - our policy - John McCain has been so clear with his policy and it makes a lot of sense too.

“We secure our borders first. But then with a comprehensive approach we must deal humanely with those who are here, and we must allow the steps to be taken to protect the families of those who are here, maybe as illegal immigrants today,” she said.

McCain has made an effort to reach out to Latino voters, a constituency that could prove key in swing states in November’s election. Latino support for the Republican Party ebbed earlier this year following a bruising battle over illegal immigration. - Reuters

Well, Obama’s highest priorities are:

1) Socialized health care.
2) Surrender the war on terror.
3) Tax “cuts” for people who don’t pay taxes and tax increases for those who do (Marxist redistributionism).
4) Amnesty, drivers licenses, gov subsidized mortgages, education, healthcare, welfare, etc, for illegals.
5) Drastically cutting defense budgets while increasing federal social programs.
6) Re-implementing the fairness doctrine.
7) Strengthening abortion on demand as the “law of the land.”
8) Advancing gay “rights.”
9) Packing the courts with liberal activist judges.
10) Working with Reid and Pelosi and the socialist congress to implement the liberal agenda against America.
11) Continue the ban or blockades on drilling, refining, mining and nuclear power.
12) Drive our economy into the ground through high taxes, big spending, choking regulation, mandates, global warming, treaties, etc.
13) Advance world government demands against America.
14) Dismantling our defenses against terrorist attacks in America.
15) Shutting down our military bases, cutting the strength of the army, navy, air force and marines.
16) Scrapping our ships, scuttling our nuclear defense programs.
17) Dissolve our borders and scrap our national sovereignty.
18) Introduce European style socialism into America.
19) Erode away the remnants of the US Constitution.
20) Continue advancing the liberal gun gun grab through judicial activism.
21) Dilute our voting power by flooding the registration rolls with massive registration fraud, followed by massive voter fraud.
22) Bringing Chicago style political corruption to DC.
23) Continue the poisoning of our youth through anti-America propagandizing and socialist indoctrination in public schools, colleges and universities.
24) Advancing the so-called “Black Liberation Theology.”
25) etc, etc, etc.

Yep. That is why I’ve tried to cut his commie legs out from under him.

Now why doesn’t the lilly livered GOP start punching the marxist.

Instead, they withdrew funding for Michelle Bachmann of Minnesota for daring to say “obama” and “anti-american” in the same sentence.

You darn well know thousands of folk read FR and lurk and you're hoping to influence them with your little tirades....and all the negative McCain/Palin threads you can dredge up!

I am sick of this....

..We are in the fight for our LIVES against this Marxist, Obama and you keep giving fodder to the enemy.

I AM HEARTSICK.....FOR MERCY SAKES ...STOP

I’m replying anyway. The enemy - meaning the libs- cannot attack McCain/Palin on immigration. They are as bad or worse. There is a reason not a peep from either side on the campaign trail.

Listen, not all conservatives can stomach McCain. That’s a fact. There are thousands of us. That is why we fought an entire year against Rudy McRomney’s annointing.

In the meantime, you can join the anti-Obama threads if you like.

I'm not joining anything!...I'm sick of it.

You know darn well I was not part of the Giuliani/Romney crowd.

You need to take a chill pill and go bark up someone else's tree.

I'm outta here.

Then I can safely assume you will ignore my comments from now on instead of trying to browbeat to vote RINO?

No matter the outcome of this election, people will wake up ten years from now or however long it takes and say, “Shucks. Guess they were right about immigration being a BFD. Too bad we’ll never see a Republican majority in our lifetimes thanks to all of these new ‘citizens.’” It took a while to see how utterly insane the ‘86 amnesty was.

I think you saw the results of the '86 amnesty in 2000 and 2004 - those were very close elections for Republicans. Another amnesty, and within a decade you'll see Democrats winning on the scale of President Reagan's '84 win.

It sickens me that we have arrived at this point. People act like we can "discuss" this with McCain/Palin after they win. No, you can't. McCain was pissed that his bill was snubbed by House Republicans, and you can bet that the bill will be brought back up and it'll pass, and he'll sign it.

Yup. Say goodbye to any semblance of conservatism as they try to coddle the 30 million new mexican voters in 2010.

THIS IS PRECISELY WHY WE MUST VOTE REPUBLICAN DOWN THE LINE AND GET BACK THE CONGRESS. IF THEY TRY THIS WE SHOULD MOVE TO IMPEACH IF NECESSARY.

The way I see it, we told McCain and the Republican Party in 2006 that we would never again vote for any individual who supported amnesty. If we turn around and elect the guy who wrote the bill, he’ll know it was a bluff. Why should he care if we scream about it the next time it comes up? The conventional wisdom is that he is only planning for one term anyway, so he really won’t be concerned about the consequences. He sure doesn’t care how it will affect the Republican party. He never did.

You don’t need to stay off my threads. I’m not a Sarah basher. I like her quite a bit. But the news of this thread was stuff people need to know. Despite this, she is a breath of fresh air in a party with alot of stale corpses.

I wish her well. And I wish Obama defeat.

What's Palin supposed to do? Refute the policies of the man who selected her to be his running mate? Wouldn't CNN love that.

um voice her opinion, wouldnt that rise her up in your standards? I mean most of you are voting for mccain because of palin. The people being pissed off here doesnt mean they are voting for obama I do hope it means we will continue to hold their feet the fire. But some how I see you same excusers trying to back us off. when she opens her purty little mouth and spews whatever boned headed policy mccain has, you will eat it up. She needs to be concerned about making us happy these next 4 years because We would be a bunch of idiots to nominate her in 2012
