FDR said SS should never become a charity — but Obama's "rebate" plan starts transforming it into just that.

Thanks to Joe the Plumber, we know for sure Barack Obama wants to "spread the wealth." But he still hasn't come clean on just how much of a European-style socialist he is. Look at the "tax cut" he says he'll give to 95% of Americans... imply a government handout - including to millions who don't pay income taxes, since each year 38% of Americans already get a full refund. In other words, his "rebate" is a welfare plan..... When called on this, Obama's answer is that those 38% still pay payroll taxes, so he's rebating part of those payments. But that actually puts him deeper into the socialist hole. Payroll taxes go to fund SS/Medicare - the main US social-insurance programs. The taxes are dedicated because these are insurance programs - you're paying so that you'll be covered when you hit retirement age. But, down the line, these programs face a financial crisis even worse than the housing mess we're in now. They need literally trillions more dollars (above what they're set to take in) to meet current obligations. By federal law, absent those new funds, every retiree will automatically have his or her benefits cut. If Obama means to rebate those payroll taxes from the SS/Medicare funds, he's accelerating the bankruptcy of those programs.

Nobama will make SS even more fair by having the folks making more than $250K pay more into SS, but get no additional benefit than those making $102K. And to even make it more fairer when it gets time to collect those that made $250K will probably be means tested out of being able to collect SS at all.

Nobama is so fair he makes my head explode.

It's already there and one only has to visit their local SS office to see what's wrong with America. I had cause to stop into mine yesterday and of 40 people waiting, not a one looked older than 50.
Most looked like they had spent the night on the street or in the drunk tank, and one Asian couple had to be in their 20s with a newborn.
I asked the guard (in a SS office?) what the story was and he said they were all there for SSI, food stamps and any other handout they could get from the system.

Most of the people Obambi wants to give an additional “tax cut”, to not only don’t pay taxes but they get a “refund”. Anyone ever hear of the EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit)? This “refund” already gives back their FICA payments.

It just dawned on me that I experienced Obama’s spread the wealth plan.

I worked for a very small company, two partners and I was their first hire. It was a job selling advertising, I had never done it before but it ended up that I was good at it. When I started we were selling ads in one state and they had managed to sell 232, I opened up 13 other states and had sold over 4,000 ads myself.

Because of the increase in ads, new people were hired, in fact they hired many new people,way more than needed. Even with all of the new hires, I was still the ONLY person doing sales, in order to keep everyone busy, I had to continually crank up those sales. With the revenue coming in a lot was going out as well, expensive weekly lunches, blackberries for everyone, etc.

It then came time to tighten the belt some, so what did my liberal bosses propose? Cut my hours and forgo my commissions to HELP the company. I was the only one generating income for the company and in order to pay the support staff, who btw, spent most of their day on Perez Hilton, MySpace and CNN.com, I had to put my commission money back into the pot to pay them.

They were ALL Obamabots and it was infuriating enough working with them, but once they told me I would have to take a pay cut, that was the final straw, I quit.

One other thing, you should of seen the faces of my ultra lib coworkers when I went to say goodbye. While the bosses were not in the room, they had that deer in the headlights look and wondered what was going to happen to the company now that I was leaving and I was the only person who generated revenue?

I told them, “I guess ya’ll will figure it out.” and left. I check the website regularly and they have not made a sale since I left in Aug.

The invaders also buy or rent valid SS nos from latinos who retired back to Mexico by which they collect several EITC refunds.

Judge Judy's penetrating questions elicted that most of the young, able-bodied latinos in her court are usually collecting disability for some pretend ailment.

In another case, Judge Judy found out a woman was collecting welfare while she was working. The ding dong actually had the audacity to sue her employer.

Anybody see PA Gov Ed ‘Fast Eddie’ Rendell on Hannity (and the other guy) last night? Rendell complained that McCain’s health plan would cut $1.3 trillion from MediCare and to why Pennsylvanians should ignore the fact that top Democrats Obama and Murtha consider them to be racists, rednecks and bitter clingers.

Even though more than half of the people waiting in that office were minorities, they're not alone. A friend of a friend came down with cancer and a few months after treatment decided to volunteer for a layoff package that was being offered where he worked.
Because he was over 55 he also took his retirement package. A few months later my friend tells me the guy applied for SSI and is now getting $2K a month - tax free.

There is nothing in the US Constitution that compels US citizens to subsidize stupid foreign nations incapable of governing themselves, or to finance the spreading of democracy via crackpot "American Empire" schemes.

Nowhere in the US Constitution does it compel US taxpayers to finance the self-esteem of foreign deadbeats and other disturbed, self absorbed freeloaders obsessed with self-aggrandizement.

I read your statement earlier and also have a
friend who worked with the Obama campaign
and also quit after being asked to take
donations coming in from the middle east
and having to put them in new envelope and
mail them back to the campaign under fake
names so it looks like it came domestically.
