NEW YORK - John McCain may long for the days when Barack Obama got the lion's share of the media attention: Coverage of the Republican candidate has been overwhelmingly negative since the conventions ended, a study released Wednesday found.

The Project for Excellence in Journalism's report illustrates how the media echo chamber can send things spiraling out of control for a candidate. It's likely to give ammunition to people who say the press has been biased against McCain, but the organization said its findings on this were inconclusive.

Obama has all the money in the world and a totally compliant, even obsequious media. The dice are loaded. They are already building the Victory Stage for Election Night. The Senate and House are already ready to welcome their Supreme Leader and to do his bidding.

Unfortunately he is against John McCain. An inconvenient opponent. McCain is the Thin Red Line that stands in the way of the relentless march towards complete domination in Washington for the liberal wing of the Democratic Party. Checks and balances be damned! McCain/Palin IS the only check on the horizon.

For McCain the odds are long and the situation grim: which is exactly how he likes it!

"It's quite possible for there to be elements of enthusiasm for one candidate or another," said Tom Rosenstiel, director of the Washington-based think tank. "That's a failure of professionalism if it's there. But this report can't suss it out."

Interesting...coincides with the Nielsen ratings big-time drops in viewership for the 3 top news networks...nearly a million each.

There is NO journalism... only a Goebbels styled propaganda machine for the left.

Talk radio reaches more people than network news and is also on the air waves.

Thus the “rationale” that the Fairness Doctrine will only apply to talk radio and not television or print journalism, nor public-funded universities. Whew! The uber-left breathes a collective sigh of relief while the socialists utter, “It’s about time!”
