Yes, you read it right. Our Gov. Arnold the fool appointed a facist environmentalist women to run the AQMD that without comment or any scientist supporting her has put on the agenda outlawing plywood.
Guess the replacements will come from China.
He played Conan the Barbarian, thinks he is Richard the Lionheart but is actually the court actor, Arnold the fool.
Kaleephornya is a disease.
Bull sh!+
It's primary symptoms are blindness and stupidity.
Is there a way to force a state to cede from the Union?
Just when you thought you’d heard it all...
What is this country coming to?
Source??
After seeing the price of plywood lately, it seems they’ve already outlawed it.
Surprised they don’t sell it by the ounce.
Maybe that earthquake along the San Andeas fault could finally happen and let CA slide into the sea.
I’m sure that if the plywood ban fails, lefties will attempt to place a $1000/box tax on nails instead. Oh, and mandatory locks on saws, too. Of course, we recognize America’s rich heritage of plywood back in the olden days, but we’re modern now; urban, sophisticated. Plywood is for bitter mid-westerners who want to hang on to their religion and racism.
That would solve the problem. I was hoping for an avenue where we could save the CA FReepers though!
Behind every environmental putsch against a business, is another business that wants to illegitimately kill the competition.
KOGO 600 San Diego, Am radio, Rodger Hedgecock. Discussed many hours today.
Why would they want to do that??
They give areason?
This is after they set their sights on outlawing wood-burning chimneys.
HOw about just SF and LA. The rest of it can be quite nice and conservative.
Sorry, the Bay Area Air Quality District a month or two ago outlawed wood fires on bad air days - called “Spare the Air Days”. They have very few enforcement officers, so they depend on neighbors spying on neighbors and informing the local constabulary about the infraction.
I suspect they are going after the emissions from the glue that binds plywood. Of course, any engineered wood material is held together with glue, so that means they will go after OSB and glulams next (or include them in the current bill).
He's appointed quite a few of those.
Which one are you referring to?
What's the detail of this latest assault on the evil plywood?
They should use stones instead.
Fortunately, I have a good source of blackmarket plywood south of the border.
