Obama’s is the sole vote against the bill, and a similar bill later passes unanimously in the United States Senate

McCain brought this vote up in the debate but utterly failed. He should have brought up the context - lone vote in IL senate - US senate voted unanimous etc. This shows how extremist Obama is. Instead McCain hgave O an opportunity to dance around this one.
