Well, since so many of the submissions have been identified as fraudulent, I can only assume they are being discarded as the trash they are. So is this actually good news that because of GOP efforts, Bambi won’t be able to steal these states where ACORN efforts are being examined??

I’m all for throwing out anything that came from ACORN. If it is that important for these folks to vote, I would be willing to allow voters to same day register with two proofs of address and legal residency (ssn card, utility bills in their name at that address and maybe a bank statement). Then we allow them to vote and dip their thumbs in indelible purple ink.

A valid Picture Id DL/Passport, Etc. will kill ALL ACORN fraud.

My picture ID shows my prior address. Don't have to update it anywhere except with the DMV. It will be updated when I have to renew my license. In this case, I think proof of residency (bank statements, utility bills with current address, etc. plus picture ID can be used).

As the affidavit reads: “The investigation started on July 2, 2008 when Larry Lomax, Clark County Registrar of Voters, reported to the division that his office had received a significant number of suspicious Voter Registration Application Forms from ACORN.”

ACORN did what the law requires them to do, turn in every registration form. ACORN tags those that are suspicious and alerts the County Election Board. Lomax did nothing and ACORN repeatedly asked for advice and disposition of the forms. As the election drew near, Lomax decided to make a name for himself on what he was alerted to months ago.

ACORN was defrauded by part-time employees. No votes were cast so there can't be voter fraud. The Election Board has to verify every from and on election day, the person attempting to vote, better have ID that says they are who they really are. This is a nothing issue.

I know the FBI is really busy and stretched as thin as Joan Rivers face,, but..

Maybe bringing back some retirees or sumthin’ ..

I know good agents don’t just fall off of trees.. and now we have the financial mess eating up your investigative resources as well, but .. this could use a bit more looking into, don’tcha think?
