HAMMOND | Early voting satellite centers in Gary, Hammond and East Chicago will remain open following a Wednesday ruling in Lake Superior Court.
In her ruling, Judge Diane Kavadias-Schneider struck down Republican efforts to have the satellite voting locations deemed illegal and shut down.
The judge granted a petition by Democrats and the United Steelworkers union to keep the sites open on grounds the centers provide better access to early voting to minority communities, which don't have the time or transportation to reach the early voting center
Republicans need volunteer poll watchers with cops there...period.

Oh, dear. Hammond is my hometown. I’m so embarassed, but not surprised. Hammond is basically SE Chicago and the politics are the same.
I’m on the ground here in NW Indiana (Portage). It’s truly a sad situation. The cesspool of SE Chicago and Gary have completed corrupted local politics here. Gary’s mayor promised Hussein 93% of the vote less than 2 weeks ago. Forget the ID requirements, they don’t beleive in stinkin’ laws these days.
All the trash in Chicago and NW IN has moved to Minneapolis and Saint Paul. They’re bringing their Chicagoland politics and behavior here.
I don’t understand who decided to just open early voting centers on their own.
This is such a crock! Don't have the time or transportation to reach the early voting?!!! I thought the reason for the early voting was people didn't have time or transportation to get to the polls on election day. Now they can't even get to the early voting places? Pretty soon they're going to be demanding that the pollsters come to their house with a pizza so they can vote.
What the heck happened to personal responsibility to get your rear-end out to vote? What a bunch of bull!
