My old college professor once quoted to us from the forward
in a book:
The wise commit the errors,
The good commit the sins.
The brave are full of terror,
Only the loser wins.
I was moved by the citation. After class, I asked him
for the source of the quote. He told me it was from a book
titled “Images of Man” and I don’t recall the author.
I couldn’t find the book in the library, though ...
