Senator Bingaman (D-NM) Comments on the Fairness Doctrine.
October 21, 2008
From the site: NEW MEXICO SENATOR JEFF BINGAMAN COMMENTS ON THE JIM VILLANUCCI SHOW ABOUT THE FAIRNESS DOCTORINE AND HOW IT COULD AFFECT YOUR LISTENING AT 770 KKOB.
“population was more intelligent when the Fairness Doctrine was used.”
In the same way that the government “knows better” than I what to do with my own money and that access to energy is “more efficient” when it is properly regulated by federal agencies and that my children will receive a “more well-rounded” education in public schools and individual pro-lifers are radical racketering organizations who will be “suitably handled” under federal RICO legislation.
This stuff is creepy and dark.
The second amendment and net neutrality is next on the agenda!
Better get your game on!
The problem with the fairness doctrine from the Bolshecrat stand point is that they, like the Bolsheviks of their namesake, think they are the majority and center, when the truth is they are firmly on the left. Democrats at some point could have laid claim to the center, but, they have long ago moved to the socialist while not telling the rank and file.
Indeed it is. In fact, the domestic left has been at war for 40 years with what most of us understand America is. What started out as a culture war is largely lost, as the left has taken over the educational and entertainment industries and the un-elected levels of governments, local, state and federal. B. Hussein Obama is the logical output of an educational system filled with a mix of union drones and outright Marxists.

Problem is is that half the people that hear “Fairness Doctrine” don’t even know what it means, but it probably sounds good to them.
The seeds of a new civil war.
I’ll be darned. Bingaman is a lib, sure, but he has usually seemed to be a fairly rational, decent one. Now, if Udall wins Pete’s seat, I’d expect full bore Marxism and Constitution shredding from him, but I must admit that this from JB surprises me.
“The seeds of a new civil war.”
Don’t know? I hate to think that.
I think, given that the Dems were to win, which I haven’t conceded; they will either implode, as you say, or they will attempt to fraudulently procure every coming election.
There would also be a commercial price to pay if a vaccuum were to be created in the AM market. There is a lot of dough that is exchanged over the airwaves.
These same Dems would be playing with fire and will get burned.
People in NM think as much of Bingaman as the WV populace does of Robert Carlyle Byrd. In fact, I read on the Novak report today that NM will have all five members of Congress in 2009 sitting on the Democrat side. People there have gone nuts.
THIS is our cue.
Not with our second amendment and 85 million guns.
mozark dawg, don’t give your state a bad name by NOT paying attention to whom I’m quoting!
We folks in the South have enough problems!!! We don’t have time to defend against our so called neighbors!
-!!
Limbaugh saw this thread in real time (or one of his staffers, who monitor FR) and talked about it a half-hour after it was posted..... then Drudge picked up on it too (presumably after hearing about it on Rush’s show).....
THIS HAS LEGS!
