I’m SO glad Dennis Miller “grew up” and became conservative.
They should have HIM doing the SNL newsdesk again....if they want their ratings to come back. He was the best, imo.
My favorite radio program. I tell everyone I can about the Dennis Miller Radio Show. You can listen online everyday if it’s not in your area. It’s wonderful.
I’m not a huge fan of his radio show (his personality and voice are not a good fit for the medium) but Dennis Miller is an absolutely brilliant man and comedian.
Look at our comedians and compare them with the leftist drivel. Even if Conservatism retreats for a few years, we can always be proud of who we are.
Yes folks, we are just plain BETTER than them.
Uh oh, I’m sure someone will tell me that “them” is codeword for black. TeeHee. Whatever, my skin is brown!
I have watched Dennis Miller for years, I can recall his M(essiah)SNBC show with Mobley the Chimp, he is really bright guy.
He was the first one to point out that David Geffen annointed the Obamao 2 years ago.
That and to be honest, he has the best vocabulary and referencing ability on the fly of anyone I’ve seen in a loong time.
“I look at Barack Obama and Im not as smart as him”
Oh for God’s sake Dennis, yes the hell you are. It is not even close.
” he went to Harvard and all that”
Harvard, so one. Thinking people correctly view that as a LIABILTY.
“and he seems very smart”
Overly coached, mechanically cadenced, pause-laden, platitude-heavy speech might get you an A in 8th grade speech class, but it does in any way signify intelligence.
McCain's been in the Senate since 1986.
You're wrong, Dennis. Your belief in common sense makes you far smarter than "That One".
Call him the William F. Buckley, Jr. of comedy.
I think Miller would say, "Yeah, but at least he has engaged in other significant endeavors."
I get DM and SH at the same time in syndication here. I check in on Sean but it has become the same program. Besides a few new policital quotes, I don’t get many new ideas to ponder.
If Miller is on about politics, I tune in. If he is recanting his entertainment career, I go to Hannity. If Hannity is a subject re-run, I throw in a CD and check in on FR.
NO WAY, NO HOW, NO BAMA!
Here is the sign in my front yard:
I hate Sean’s “You are great American” thing. That is weird to me.
“3. On Sarah Palin
I like Palin. Shes like me. I like her and I like McCain. I look at Biden and go, I wouldnt stay 36 years in Congress. That seems like a soft job. I dont quite get that. A true maverick gets out of there after 10 to a dozen years. Biden was sworn in by Nixon, for Gods sake. I look at Barack Obama and Im not as smart as him he went to Harvard and all that and he seems very smart. I look at Palin and I think, Who reminds me the most of the way I think in this race? And its her, so I gravitate toward her.”
THANK you, Dennis Miller, we’ve been waiting for you to come around.
Oh for Gods sake Dennis, yes the hell you are. It is not even close.
You're supposed to pick up on the subtle sarcastic tone of these statements. Dennis is speaking in a code that's understood by middle america, but not understood by your average NYC lib.
