I agree but politics produce strange bedfellows. Hillary I’m sure has been promised something.

While I'm sure she has been promised something, and Bill as well, I must point out that the "politics makes for strange bedfellows" remark was coined by Charles Dudley Warner who lived between 1829 and 1900 -- long before feminism, when politics was expected to be a rough, manly mud wrestle.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

But in view of Hillary's feminist protestations, she is the "hollow man" here. Feminists were supposed to create an ethic of cooperation, usher in an era of peace, work through the system to change the old boys' ways of doing things, make a kinder world, blah, blablablahhhh, etc. Yet she seems only too willing to let herself be abused and then play the victim card in order to play with the boys. That's why as a society we have drawn the line at women in combat; because we are not willing for women to be tortured or raped if captured.

She is indeed pathetic.

Obama is a marxist. He may not be able to create a concentration camp system in his first term. But he will do it in his second term. It comes with the ideology. As software engineers say, “That’s not a bug. It’s a feature!”

I suspect she has been threatened with the withdrawal of support for her ventures. The DNC will not help her if she forsakes the Obamunist.

I'm still trying to figure out what is in this for Hillary?

Supremes? God forbid.

Bill for head of NATO?

Chelsea for Interior?

Keep thinking. It gets worse.

Biden for Pres if something happens to Hussein?

Rangle for head of State.

Wexler for Treasury.

Nightmares go on and on. But some of this could happen.

60 Democrats, goose stepping in unison.

None of that namby-pamby, feel good crap of bipartisanship. Hopefully Snow, Collins, et al, will gag from being told to shut-up all the time.

Mark Begich is a lifelong Alaskan -- he's the first mayor of Anchorage actually born in the city.

That name rings a bell. That's it! Art Bell. Begich used to be on Art Bell's show a lot. Begich is a real piece-of-work. Al Gore pseudo science stuff with a little Weather Underground anti-imperialism conspiracy theory thrown in.

There’s no way republicans from plain states and Virginia should have lost their races.

You must realize that the "One World" string-pullers behind the scenes have been flooding key states strategically with illegals and poverty pimps who will gladly participate in anti-Bush, anti-war and pro-illegals demonstrations, as well as voter frauds like the ACORN scandal. Virginia has been invaded by those types of people. As well, the several counties just below Washington, DC, contain dense populations of lawyers and yuppies and Islamic madrassas.

"Shift happens." Demographic strategy seems to be in short supply among Republican leadership.

The Senate prospects are bad. Lack of money and hostile local media has made it impossible in states like Virginia and New Mexico to gain ground on what should be close races. I think both of those races will be closer in the end but it will take a miracle for either of those races to go our way. I’m still praying but unless our Senate candidates get an infusion of cash before the last week we will be well on our way to a filibuster proof Democrat majority in the Senate and the House. We need to win all the close races. We can not afford to lose any incumbents even the RHINOs and that presents another problem altogether. Even if we hold the line in the Senate narrowly we will be totally dependent on types like Susan Colins if Obama takes the Presidency. I still don’t think he will. There is a bit of the story the media is not telling. They are feeding into their own delusion and may wakeup on election day to a groundhog day nightmare.

Where else could she get her healthcare program through? Certainly not from the bench.

Question is: Does Obama let Dingy Harry keep his post until after the election or does he use her “promotion” to secure the PUMA vote prior to 11-4?

She is just playing the good little democrat so she can take the high road and be the nominee in 2012. She wants to be prez, nothing less will satisfy her....NOTHING!

It's nice to dream big, but this country will never elect her.

“has any one checked to see what the PUMAs are saying?”

Some of them did actually seem disillusioned and disappointed with her when this latest round of campaigning began. Obviously a few will always be loyal but I get the feeling some of them hate Obama more than they love her. There is hope for those ones.

I don’t listen to coast to coast much but I think I do remember hearing the name before. Regardless we just have to close ranks around all of our house and senate candidates period. This is not an election to screw around. This is deadly serious, this isn’t a Bill Clinton election this is an election that could end up throwing the country the farthest swing left in more than fifty years.

thanks redk! i hope this wont split the pumas. to me it seems they are so organized that hillary must have her hand in there some where, helping, getting info out, but i might be wrong. her recent remarks seem inconsistent with the last few months of non campaigning campaigning for obama.

If they reach that number, the days of this country being a democracy are over. The Fascists will take over, and this country will be lost

They have a Congress with an approval rate somewhere around 9%. Lower than Bush even.

We have already spent an extra trillion or so dollars this year and the economy is tanking so even the ability to spend IOU's is somewhat limited.

We will see how long it takes someone to overreach, and how long it takes for Democratic unity to break down.

Yes, Hillary understands what is at stake, but she is also playing “the good partisan” here. She’s supporting down- ticket candidates instead of “The One.”
