yah, about that...one day i hear she is on her death bed, then they say she broke her hip? which is it? my mother broke her hip, was a long recovery, but not life threatening.

Hip fractures are fatal for nearly 1/4 of patients over 50 years old.

i understand they can be, but we were led to believe yesterday it was much more serious. my mother is in her 70s and did great, considering. my aunt in her late 60s had a new knee, again, recovered beautifully. is there a risk? sure. any time you have surgery you are at risk. AND if the docs thought her grandma was on deaths door, he would not announce 4 days before that he was going. would you? just saying.....
prayers for obamas grandma. i hope she comes through well.
