If Rendell’s worried, then Obama ought to be worried as well.
Good!

Maybe that rumor about Obama internals show him only being up 2 in PA are accurate.

Looks like Rendell is asking Obama to “wet his beak” a little before Ed will get the party machine to seal the state for Barry.

The latest CNN poll of polls in Pennsylvania suggests Obama hold a 13 point lead over McCain there.
Moreover, judging by the sheer numbers of McCain/Palin yard signs that have sprouted throughout the commonwealth, I'd say that this poll is definitely BS, probably due to oversampling in and around Philly.

Oh, how I hope (and I do believe) Rendell is right.
PA would be a great offset to the possibility of Obama/Biden taking VA, NM and IA.
How McCain/Palin overcome Philadelphia/ACORN is another question.

This makes sense in light of Murtha’s recent ramblings.
Murtha may be a clown, but he certainly knows how things really are “on the ground” in his area of the state.

Wow..if “Fast Eddie” Rendell is “concerned” it’s gotta mean he doesn’t have enough fraudulent registrations at hand to counter the massive number of Conservatives and Reagan Democrats planning to vote.
Now if we can only manage to get Murtha turned out to pasture.

“Democrats generally worry that the race is significantly closer than what recent polls have suggested”
So you mean the pollsters are basically making s#it up in an effort to help Obi, and the reality is greatly different?

Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell has sent two separate memos to the Obama campaign in the past five days requesting that the Democratic Presidential candidateas well as Hillary and Bill Clintonreturn to campaign in Pennsylvania, Rendell told CNN's Gloria Borger. Let's see... an internal poll leaks from the Obama campaign indicating that they only have 2 point lead in PA - essentially the same margin Kerry won by in 2004. Now we confirmation in Rendell's call for help.
Yet most of the polls tell us that Obama is going to win states like VA (where Bush won by 8 percent in 2004) and NC (Bush by 12+). I don't theeeenk so.
