What I mean is purposely self-destruct.Perhaps (I'm not questioning your statement, just whether it's on purpose). There's two schools of thought on what he said: 1) Obama's election will cause him to soon be tested and he'll cave. Americans won't be happy with his actions; 2) Instead of caving in he'll act over-the-top in a way his supporters won't understand/agree with.
I wonder he may have meant it the second way, but isn't insightful enough to see how else his remarks could be taken. Since Madeline Albright backed him up this morning, I am leaning more toward the second explanation than ever.

“Where is the Vatican on this?”
Very recent comment made by Biden. . . I would think the USCCB will respond to this.

Not likely, ol’ Joe is the stingiest senator in the US. He gave $995 last year and $380 the year before, for a grand whopping total of about 0.15% of his income. That includes donations to his church.

Obama’s a liar too.
Obama has come out against Prop 8, in effect saying he is for gay marriage.
They are against defending traditional marriage. Period.

As an outsider, you can be forgiven for not knowing that the USCCB has no authority. (As an insider, I would add that it should be disbanded. IMHO.) Individual bishops have authority in their particular Dioceses.
Joe Biden is technically a resident of Delaware, although he lives and works in Washington, DC. This would seem to place him within the jurisdiction of both Archbishop Donald Wuerl (of Washington, DC) and Bishop W. Francis Malooly (of Wilmington, DE). Both have already spoken against him several times.
I believe "salvation" maintains a list ...

He falsely calls himself a Catholic. The stakes are too high now for such an obvious Pro Choice candidate to be held in any good regard, especially concerning donations.

LOL! Didn’t you hear how Biden donated very little money over the years to charity? Your bias is showing.

The USelessCCB will do precisely Jack Squat.
Some Bishops, OTOH, will condemn him.

Yes, true, but it is the voices of the individual bishops that can and should be heard.
Not only those within Biden’s jurisdiction, but others throughout the country.
I’m sure those voices will be heard now.

Those voices certainly will be raised ... indeed are being raised.
MSM will either ignore them or misrepresent them.

Most Catholics will vote Obama because he’s black and a democrat. The power of the Roman Catholic Church is over even over abortion. Biden can thumb his nose at the Pope and the Bishops and feel no pain for it in todays “Feel Good” America. We deserve the likes of Obama. Just watch when the Socialists start chopping the church and seizing wealth and putting everyone in camps. Its coming folks. Two years of H*ll. America will be a broke 3rd world state with a president for life.
To: Forward the Light Brigade
Disagree, ALL Catholics will vote McCain. Sorry to say, the Obama voters are not Catholics.

So is Biden going to stuff his Rosary Beads down the Pope’s throat, since the Pope says that Biden is wrong in his positions?
