Joe Biden: The McCain Campaign's Best Friend
The Loft ^ | Oct 21, 2008 | Bobby Eberle

Posted on 10/21/2008 7:41:25 AM PDT by Islander7

Leave it to Joe Biden to say in one speech what John McCain has been unable to say for an entire campaign. Yes, there is the issue of the economy. (Obama's ties with Fannie and Freddie have barely been mentioned by McCain.) Yes, there is the issue of taxes. (McCain can't seem to explain how cutting taxes for all is better than class warfare and socialism). Yes, there are a host of issues where McCain has a better plan, but one of the most important, especially in a time of war, is that John McCain is ready to be commander-in-chief from Day 1.

Obama has no foreign policy experience and is not ready. Thankfully, Obama picked Sen. Joe Biden as his running mate. This gives Biden plenty of time at the podium and plenty of opportunities to open his mouth. At a speech on Monday, he reminded everyone what the consequences will be by putting a foreign policy novice in charge of the world's strongest military...

During a speech in Seattle, Biden said, "Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking." Biden added, "Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he's gonna have to make some really tough -- I don't know what the decision's gonna be, but I promise you it will occur."

Obama's socialist agenda puts him on the wrong side of many issues, and foreign policy stands out like a sore thumb. He would hold friendly chats with leaders such as Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Venezuela's Hugo Chavez. Doing so, of course, would lend validity to the rhetoric and actions of these people, but that doesn't seem to sink in to Obama.

Of course the world wants Obama. The world wants to swoop in and carve the U.S. up amongst themselves.

Joe Biden doesn’t want to be VP.
He knows he’s too old to run for president in 8 years, and sitting VPs almost never get elected president.
But he knows that if 0bama loses this election, then he will be well positioned to take the nomination in 4 years, instead of being forced to drop out after Iowa as usual.

Now that the world has been dazzled by Biden’s superior intellect, knowledge, and command of the issues, he surely will be a shoe-in for 2012. But Barack has to lose first!

Biden said “generated crisis”....hmmmm....maybe he knows that Obama is planning on generating a crisis so he can handle it and look Presidential.....hmmm....or else Biden is in Hillary’s camp as is Albright.

Biden’s Idea of the first six months in office. The question is whether or not Obama/Biden are fit for leading America!
Is Joe Biden trying to scare us into voting for McCain?
Maybe Obama needs to drop Biden and Pick up Colin Powell.

he surely will be a shoe-in for 2012.

Are you kidding me? If Obama loses, Biden will be partly blamed and he'll be lucky to get out with his life. Your theory could not be more wrong.

One thing Republicans need to bring out. Biden said that Obama will be tested, just like Kennedy. Kennedy was tested with a possible nuclear war. We were within 30 minutes of Kennedy pushing the button. To have the football in the hands of someone like Obama is just plain crazy.

Krauthammer said it best yesterday: “Joe Biden is obviously a Republican plant.”

“Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. ....... “Remember I said it standing here. if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he’s gonna have to make some really tough — I don’t know what the decision’s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it’s gonna happen,”

Thanks Joe!!!!!!!!

Rudy Guiliani aptly pointed out that Joe Biden was very forceful in his word choice. Namely,

Mark my words

Remember I said it standing here

I promise you

I guarantee you

I have another theory on this. I think that BIDEN has thought on the issues of Obama, knows his history with associations with terriorist and has come to the conclusion that Obama is just to dangerous to be Pres.

I do think that Biden is subltly giving the clues to the Dems and undecided's. Even Biden has to love America as we know it. He has a son in service as well.

I am not defending Biden and I could be wrong on his intentions, but perhaps Biden has discovered he has HITCHED his wagon to the wrong team, and is trying to warn everyone. Just my opinion, means nothing. lol

Krauthammer said it best yesterday: “Joe Biden is obviously a Republican plant.”

He gives the Republicans too much credit. Biden is obviously a Clinton plant.

I caught that as well.

Dr. Krauthammer has a gift for summarizing current events into one or two short, humorous setences.

"Joe Biden is obviously a Republican plant."

Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Also a good point.

There is video of Joe Biden publicly praising Hillary Clinton at a podium while giving her a hug, and then giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Joe Biden is truly a fun one to watch.

It's a shame that Obama has recently yanked him off the campaign trail.

Like another FRiend stated, Joe Biden and Michelle Obama are probably locked up in sound-proof rooms until the election is over.

None of these countries will test Obama, they will just come right in and take over..They know Obama will do nothing because he is their friend..

I said once before that Obama is trying to get rid of Biden and he will now Obama has his Colin Powell and Colin will step right in when Joe comes down with a brain tumor...
