Not to sound harsh, but it is Obama who is having a personal crisis, not McCain. There is absolutely no reason for McCain to stop campaigning. McCain was the first to get off the trail when his country needed him, but Obama does not need him, and McCain has a job to do.

I am sure Obama will continue to run his ads, and he will be just fine.

This is one of those terrible and very sad things that happen in life (ailing family members), but we cannot expect the whole world to stop with us as we tend to personal business.

Sorry if I sound blunt and harsh, but it is just the way I see it.

My comment had nothing to do with McCain (I was only quoting the previous poster).

As I said, I believe Obama is going to visit his sick Grandmother but chose this time only partly because of her illness. I believe he is going to meet with lawyers (DNC and local) to attempt to stop/stomp efforts to get his whole birth record released.
