Sarah Palin's bright-eyed daughter Piper melted hearts at a Colorado ice-cream shop as the veep candidate satisfied the girl's sweet tooth during a campaign stop.
The beaming 7-year-old, who came in holding baby brother Trig in his removable car seat, gobbled up a dish of birthday-cake ice cream from the Cold Stone Creamery in Colorado Springs Sunday night.
The Palins - daughter Willow, 14, was there, too - greeted several excited customers and posed for photos.
Palin paid cash for the treats and threw a little extra in the tip jar before retreating to her hotel.
She seems to have an affinity for the popular ice cream chain. Last month, she diverted from the campaign trail in Florida to take her husband, Todd, and their kids to a Cold Stone, where she also opted for birthday cake.

As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.

“Who doesnt like ice cream ? Everybody should like ice cream.”
When I lived in Alaska, I think I heard that Alaska has the highest per-capita consumption of ice cream in the U.S. (Useless information...FWIW.)
Too cute for words.
They're mighty cute kids.
How cute
She is cute little rugrat
I just love this kid.
I just think Piper is a sweetie.
The NY Post is a bunch of idiots.
Don’t they know that Alaskans consume more ice cream per person than the rest of the nation?
Hot Licks Ice Cream (Fairbanks) tastes great by the way!
I remember Gore Vidal once saying that Ronald Reagan was an idiot because he read the western novels of Louis Lamour (sp?)
I guess on those really cold Alaska nights a bowl of ice cream can warm you up.
Oh my goodness...I go to that Cold Stone all the time. It’s just a few blocks from my house. How cool? [no pun intended]!
Sweets for the sweet.
I’d crawl over broken glass to share ice cream with the Palins.
Preparing for 2040.
Now you know how I felt when Sarah came to “My” Wal-Mart and I missed her.
