McCain won’t question Obama’s patriotism, but I sure the heck will. Between Ayres, flag pins, paint job on planes, national anthems, 57 states, Rev. Wright....Obama has shown repeatedly, he has no respect for this country.

Wish the McCain/Palin campaign would hear about this and have that young man, Zach Bencal sing the Anthem for them.

Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto: "In God is our trust." And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

What kind of Neocon propaganda is that? Conquer we must? In God is our trust? I'm surprised the Rovian plant who came up with that stuff didn't finish with "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED".

I'm so upset now I can hardly eat my arugula.

“We regret the miscommunication with Zach about today’s event but we are pleased that several other New Hampshire residents were able to speak at today’s event, where thousands of voters in both parties gathered to hear Sen. Obama discuss his plan to bring the change we need to Washington.”

Several other speakers???? The National Anthem takes two minutes.

Did they sing a song in praise to Obama instead?

(I should have got some pics. I'm only about 15 min. away from “Moonbat” Mac's apples.)

Honestly, it’s probably a wise move.
Would you trust the crowd not to boo, throw things, or turn their back?
But don’t question their patriotism!

Only pure hatred of America by That 0ne wouldscrup the national anthem. Most likely he did not want to have to stand in honor with his hand over his cold heart and potentially have a pic taken. We all have seen the pic where his is cradling his own acorn nuts that the Reverend Jacksummmmm wants to surgically remove....

There's a bunch of good stuff regarding the national anthem at the "FReeper Canteen ~ It's The Star Spangled Banner's Birthday ~ 12 September 08" thread including my post giving information on its prequel, the earlier Key poem to the same tune during the first war against the Barbary pirates. That was first read in honor of Stephen Decatur, Jr. He was the greatest hero in the country at the time. I wonder if Obama even knows who he was and why he was worthy of all the honors he received. Sen. Obama SHOULD know the story as he represents a sizable city named for him. I'm confident retired naval Captain McCain could recite the story of the the still youngest ever holder of his rank.

Not present, or at least not singing the National Anthem at the rally was Londonderry senior Zach Bencal.

Bencal, who sings the anthem for a number of school events and is actively involved in local community theatre, had been contacted by the Obama campaign to sing the anthem. He agreed to do so, then was told later in the evening the anthem had been scratched from the program. Sandra Abrevaya, communications director for the Obama campaign’s Manchester office, confirmed the choice had simply been a last-minute scratch from the rally’s program, which included the Pledge of Allegiance.

“We regret the miscommunication with Zach about today’s event but we are pleased that several other New Hampshire residents were able to speak at today’s event, where thousands of voters in both parties gathered to hear Sen. Obama discuss his plan to bring the change we need to Washington.”

I think the Anthem to Obomber is like garlic to a Vampire.
