GRAND JUNCTION -- Braving the cold, Palin supporters were seen lining up as early as 5 am-- a group of 13-year-old girls holding the honor of being first in line.

13 days of Sarah hitting every battleground and John hitting leaners. Who knows? Perhaps a miracle will occur.
Sarah has a rally event live on CSPAN at 3:15 if I am reading right. I caught the end of one this morning, they played North to Alaska while she was signing autographs. I am old enough to remember that song from when I was a wee thing riding around in a 54 ford without a seat belt...
Sometimes referred to by locals as Happy Valley ... Grand Junction (confluence of the Colorado & Gunnison thus the name) is in Mesa County. Mesa County is the most reliable Republican county in western Colorado.
National Review online (Jim Geratgty column) said the Denver Post estimated 11,000 at Colo Spgs rally!
Low 40’s deg in the rain!
Everybody - Volunteer & Donate.
Make sure we are all at local McCain HQ helping out with GOTV the weekend before the election. If you are retired - volunteer now. Ignore the polls.
Ignore the MSM - in the next few weeks they will go into overdrive fawning over Obama. Be prepared.
I hope not. I'd rather see a McCain/Palin victory!
These kinds of numbers tell me the media is pitching a total fiction this election of the "inevitability of Obama".
***I think the Keystone State is going to be the cause of some major heartburn on Nov. 4th.***
Delightful. I’m full of hope on that front. :o)
LOL. I like it. Well, perhaps Colo. voters will miraculously forget their fascination with a socialist pacifist like BHO and amazingly pull the lever for McCain.
CNN per John King and Time mag per Mark Halperin reports that McCain is moving his team out of Colorado. And Sarah is going to be performing in front of 20,000+ people in Grand Junction tonight. Would you call this a non sequitur? John and Mark you should lose your reputation as journalists for spreading such vicious lies and disinformation.
I wouldn't necessarily say that's lies or disinformation. Do you have a source link for these reports? If McCain is moving staff out of Colorado, the same day Palin is campaigning there, that likely means he feels Colorado is a lock. Yes, it could mean CO is a lost cause, and Palin simply went there to help the Senate race. But IMHO the Pubbie won't win the Senate race unless McCain carries CO.
McCain is not pulling out of Colorado and have to wonder about CNN reporting that was happening. Do I believe CO is a lock? Sure do!
Unlike Obama a lot of McCain people are volunteers that staff all these offices with one or two paid staffers.
I’m feeling pretty good about CO, too. Perdogg posted on another thread that s/he contacted a McCain office in CO, and they denied any pull out or reshuffling of staff.
Frantzie, when the battle is over and the wearied troops take their well deserved rest, when we party and celebrate the great victory, when there is an accounting of who did what to achieve the great victory, YOU will be remembered as a true spirit.. a true patriot...for all the great and positive posts ....thanks for it...
Exactly. The fact that the MSM is so so so in the tank for the Dems ala BHO, is a disgrace. It is sickening that the voters cannot see that a vote against Obama will be a vote against these biased bums.
