That sucks. My daughter is a soph. in an all girl Catholic HS. After the last debate her English teacher just trashed McCain. Said he is bad for the country etc. A bunch of the girls in her class, a lot are black, are also for Obama. My daughter is not up on politics, only what she hears from my husband and I and FOX. She and one other girl were trying to defend McCain. I feel this will hurt her grades as the teacher was not happy. She asked my daughter if she were a republican and she said my parents are. My daughter said she acts like one of the kids.

Her global teacher at least presents both sides.

My son, who went to an all boys HS, had to watch the Al Gore movie. He asked the teacher to show a movie about the other view point and the teacher said no.

I went to St. Teresa’s (all girl Catholic High school), but it was a long time ago. We never talked politics. It’s a private school.....talk to the principal or the dean or whoever. You have the right to stand up against this kind of garbage!

In HS last year Clint Jr took AP Environmental Science. His teacher hated him because he was a conservative and accused him of cheating without proof and lowered his grade to a “C”. If that were true it was a huge honor code violation so he went to the dean and self reported so the libtard teacher would have to prove it. The teacher immediately backed down, wrote him a formal apology and raised his grade back to an “A”. Small victory but a good lesson.

Gore's lies get plenty of play in the government schools. I teach an online Oceanography course for high school students. The kids always start out spouting Gore-isms, because they assume that is what I want to hear. Once they understand that we are actually going to study facts, they are actually relieved. So far I haven't had one of them fight me when I explain to them the errors in An Inconvenient Truth. They have been quite literally brainwashed by their undereducated "science" teachers, who actually think Algore is a credible scientific source.

If your private school is anything like the one that I send my daughter to, then you are paying a pretty penny. It is a shame that we first pay for crappy Government schools through property taxes and other funding, but now that some of us are resorting to PAY MORE just to get them out of Government schools, the kids STILL have to undergo this stuff. I would report this teacher.
