No more questions after Powell endorsement, says Biden
From CNN Political Producer Alexander Marquardt
TACOMA, Washington (CNN) Joe Biden thanked Colin Powell for endorsing Barack Obama Sunday, saying that with his choice of Obama over John McCain, questions about the Illinois senators ability to be commander-in-chief will be put to rest.
From the very beginning, this Republican party has tried to suggest that Barack Obama, Senator Barack Obama, wasnt ready to be commander-in-chief, said the Delaware senator to more than 11,000 supporters in a minor league ballpark, his biggest crowd to date when campaigning without Obama.
With all the three and four star generals, with the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the former National Security Adviser, the former Secretary of State, one of the most respected men who have ever worn the uniform, endorsing Barack Obama over John McCain today, no more questions! Barack Obama will be a commander-in-chief we can all respect!
Biden later noted that an agreement between the US and Iraq on a timetable for withdrawal of US troops is close to being signed, something Obama has long called for.
John McCain talks about leadership, said Biden, Let me remind you, whose idea was that? Barack Obama's. John McCain's the only odd man out now, along with Governor Palin.

If Obama was white and McCain was black, who do you think Colin Powell would have endorsed???
Besides, isn't it hypocritical to have been so anti-war and then pick Colin Powell who was the one who went to the U.N. and presented the evidence on WMD's to kick off the Iraq War?
Isn't this a slap in the face of his base? How would this impress moderates that didn't want us in Iraq?
Exactly, Obama shoots his mouth off about how terribly wrong McCain was about the war in Iraq and then is âhumbledâ by and endorsement from the guy who made the case for the war to the world.
Yeah they thought this would be THEE story today, instead people were still talking about that blasted Sarah on SNL. lol
On that one, I suepect the former. Biden is no Sarah Palin. He doesn't help Obama by campaigning in particular states the way Sarah helps McCain when she does so. This is one of the reasons why the left hates her so much.
Wasn’t that long ago Powell and Condi Rice were being called “Uncle Toms” and not accused of not really being black because they are Republicans. Powell was never a Republican, just said he was.
Both Biden and Gen. Powell seem curiously unaware of troop sentiment.
The Military Times (Army, Navy, Marines, Airforce) surveyed nearly 4,300 readers and published the results in the October 08 editions.
John McCain received a CIC preference of 68 percent to Obama’s 23 percent.
Powell’s endorsement of a person for CIC who sat like a toad in an ostensible church and took in for 20 years the rabid villification and cursing of America is more than repugnant - it is terribly, terribly sickening.
saying that with his choice of Obama over John McCain, questions about the Illinois senator's ability to be commander-in-chief will be put to rest. Why? Because President George W. Bush and President George H.W. Bush both hired Powell? Thanks Joe Biden! You *are* a political genius.
Limbaugh: Where are the inexperienced, white liberals Powell has endorsed?

It’s ACORN and homeless people from Chicago.
If Gen Schwartzkopf endorse McCain then watch out for the MSM yell for racism.
