so where is our DUI story on Obama? You think anything like that is out there? Will Drudge flash the red and blue light on the birth certificate story? The Odinga thing?
To: Chet 99
I think the drunk driving October surprise accounted for about 5 of those points.

Ironically, even though Buchanan was showing 0% nationally, the very fact he was on the ballot cost Gore the election. Hee hee hee.

We may see something that will surprise even both parties. Israel is getting real nervous right now.

Please Chet99 is a good FReeper.
He’s not a troll.

We have a dozen things MUCH WORSE than the DUI story, but unlike the dems in 2000, we have no media to report them for us.

I don’t think we need an October Surprise at this point if we can keep hammering: “Spread the Wealth” around. Polls are already recording movement towards McCain.

Polls have been “recording movement” every day towards McCain, but they seem to be keeping the same numbers to me.

I’ve said it before...the MSM reports whatever John McCain is talking about. Ayers was NEVER mentioned in the MSM until Sarah Palin said Obama was palling around with terrorists.....McCain needs to dig deep and grow the suspicion around Obama into a pandemic.

Yes Chet99 has been posting excellent reality checks on past polls poor predictive performance. And those were “regular” elections.
This one has so many new strange dynamics the pollsters will be in for a real shock election day.

It was actually Nader who cost Gore the election. Nader took more than enough votes away from Gore in FL to give the state to Bush and which gave bush the 500 votes to win the state.
To: Styria
Huh? Have you seen how Gallup has closed dramatically (McCain down 2 in the traditional Likely Voter poll) and Zogby is McCain down less than (2.7% IIRC).
The only one not recording this sort of movement is Rasmussen. Who, once again adjusted the party mix to record MORE Democrats than Republicans since his last survey.

Nope, it was the 3,407 people who "voted" for Buchanan in Palm Beach County who gave Bush his victory.

Huh? A 10 point difference is a "narrow lead"?!?
For how many weeks now have we been told by the MSM that with an 8-10 point lead Obama was literally skipping his way to victory?
This one is definitely a keeper.

Why isn’t anyone seizing on the Odinga story?

Do you really think you’re “outing” him?
