Colin Powell is now a man without a party.
Colin Powell - the man who knew the truth about the Valerie Plame story (Armitage leaked) and said nothing about it while Scooter Libby twisted in the wind, and then slanders McCain with lies. Well, I USED to think he had principles....

If Nobama was a white male, would Powell have endorsed him? That is my only question about his endorsement. I think we all know the answer. Content of character, indeed.

The vast majority of high ranking military officers are men of honor and integrity. After the fiasco of Plame and Armitage and now this it is evident that Colin Powell is not among them.
Ditto to what you said. His two-bit endorsement of his “messiah” should have been enough. There was absolutely no reason for him to try to finish McCain off with a “frag.” Powell is a hate-filled individual.
I was flamed in 2000 during the recount for saying Bush shouldn’t pick Powell as SOS. I was against him because he wouldn’t side with W against Gore. What a weasel!
So why doesn't Colon Bowell announce a party switch to the Jackass party?

Of course he’s a muslim. He’s hiding that fact just like he’s hiding his middle name.
I frequently drive through a neighboring city where there is a large muslim population, children riding bikes in muslim garb.....had to stop inside the store there and they were polite and cordial....answered my questions about finding a particular address. I actually feel safe in that neighborhood. Just sayin’.....I am surrounded by several Pakistani families in my own neigbhorhood.....makes life interesting, especially the summer they were raising goats.

He’s obviously holding a grudge and is timing his revenge for maximum impact (such that it is).

My son is an Army veteran of Desert Storm. I gave Colin Powell the benefit of the doubt however my son did not, my son was right as you were.
what a dissapointing disgrace he is. To downplay Obama’s connection to Ayers is unbelievable coming from a man with a distinguished military career. He needs go back and hide under the rock he’s been under.

Ask Barack. He has been saying being called muslim is a “smear” since deep in the Democratic primary.

Ridiculous. This thing began early in the Democratic primary, with Barack stoking the flames by his constant denials. Powell is either just awoke from a year long coma or is being completely devious.

I say bring on Rev. Wright! Supposedly it was the possibility of a Powell endorsement that was keeping McCain from using it.
