If Obama wins I’m putting a black wreath on my front door for the death of America as we know it. It will be socialism x’s 100. The Democrats will be known as the Social Democrats from now on & it will be a bumpy ride these next 4 years if not longer. God must have a reason if Obama wins & I guess no one on Earth will know why until something happens. I’m praying that McCain wins.
I stand in agreement with that plea for mercy.
I don’t believe that God decides who will be president. However I think there is ample evidence that God does restrain evil here on earth to some degree. Probably to the degree that Christians pray he do so.
But the time draws near for the fulfillment of all things I believe. God has seen how it plays out and now begins to hold back his angels. Obama could very well be the False Prophet. He will be, if elected, the most powerful man on earth (especially with a rat congress) and being utterly godless fits the bill for the False Prophet to a T.
As may be.
That does not make me personally guilty of transgressing any moral law.

I suspect the Israelites felt the same way, when threatened with punishment by Assyria and Babylon.
I ask God to spare us, but I cannot doubt He would be just in condemning us with Obama.

I love America with all of my heart but we must be honest with ourselves. America was founded as a Christian nation and built upon Judeo-Christian principles. While there are many in America who have faithfully believed on Christ and continue to walk humbly with their God, they are a remnant and no longer in the majority. Sadly, as a nation America has sinned and continues to sin against God in ways too numerous to count. The majority of Americans have turned their backs to Him and followed after false gods of our own imaginations and after false ways. We have purposed to drive any recognition of almighty God out of our schools, our government, and out of our public and private discourse.
Multitudes of our churches are led by name it and claim it, health and wealth hucksters and by those who have exchanged the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ for the power of positive thinking; for the purpose-driven business models of mere men, for anything and everything but the person of Christ and His one all sufficient sacrifice for our sin upon the blood stained cross.
Once evangelical denominations are being led and guided by practicing homosexuals and perverts. By men and women consumed by their own sexual lusts who are leading multitudes to wholesale destruction and eternal damnation. The “Emergent church” movement in America is actively engaged in so perverting and compromising the very foundational doctrines of Christianity and the Gospel of Jesus Christ that the church is in the process of being rendered useless as a testimony and as salt and light in our society.
God is not mocked; it appears we in America are reaping what we have sown for decades and the truth of Romans 1:18-32 is a faithful description of what has been and is taking place throughout our land: It appears that God is “giving us over” to our own ways and desires:
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
24Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.
It should come as no surprise that God appears to be giving America over to the control of Obama; a man who is the very antithesis of everything America has stood for since her inception.
While this assessment of the situation seems hopeless, God is still on the throne and He does provide a remedy:
“If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2Chronicles 7:14)
Whether He will choose to deliver us at this time is solely His prerogative. But for our part, we can pray:
God, please have mercy upon America, please, for Christ's sake forgive us of our sins against You and if it is Your will, please deliver us from this evil and from the outcome of our ways. We humbly ask this in the blessed name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, amen.
(I am sorry, but this thing has come to a head now, and I believe it is the Lord our God who has done it. Heres why. During my lifetime, I have never seen 2 sides having a candidate who so clearly illustrate the scripture “I put before you both death, and life; CHOOSE LIFE”. I believe this is Gods ‘calling to account” moment in History for our country. By this election He will either remove his Providence from a nation who clearly does not want him here, or he will pour out his spirit for those who have correctly chosen life. We have fought, but not with all our being these thirty years.)
I agree with you 110%. Our choice has never been so clear. I believe if we continue to pray, God will fight for His righteous and that He will hand us the victory. I so believe that he wants us to let Him know that we want and choose Him(life) over His enemy. We need to lift our voices up in this earth to the throne of our Merciful Father. God is sovereign in that He is paramount and supreme. There is no one higher in authority or power, but that does not mean He exercises His power by controlling everything in our lives. God has given us the freedom to choose. He has a plan for us. He seeks to reveal that plan to us and urge us in that direction, but we choose. He doesn’t make our choices for us.
We also live under a NEW and greater covenant. Do not confuse the judgement of Israel in the OT with the NT believer.
The word “sovereign” is not used in the King James Version of the Bible. It is used 303 times in the Old Testament of the New International Version, but it is always used in association with the word “LORD” and is the equivalent of the King James Version’s “LORD God.” Not a single one of those times is the word “sovereign” used in the manner that it has come to be used in religion in our day and time.
Religion has resulted in the invention of a new meaning for the word “sovereign,” which basically means God controls everything. Nothing can happen but what He wills or allows. However, there is nothing in the actual definition that states that. The dictionary defines “sovereign” as, “1. Paramount; supreme. 2. Having supreme rank or power. 3. Independent: a sovereign state. 4. Excellent.” None of these definitions means that God controls everything.
It certainly is folly to compare a NT believer to those under the law in the OT.
When God spoke to Moses, he told him that he was going to punish Egypt for the destruction wrought on Israel’s first born males by the pharoah’s grandfather. So yeah God will wreak vengence as he lifts up countries and pulls down others. 40 million aborted babies in the US plus hundreds of millions of aborted little ones across the world means a lot of blood to atone for. Israel alone? God will defend her in the end, though there is going to be a lot of damage.
Satan’s system is coming down and most of the saints are going to be in the cross fire until Jesus should rapture the remaining ones off of the world. In the mean time, kiss the Son and learn to get close to each other again, putting aside petty differences. We are all going to need each other!

The world in some circles is seen as being divided into 10 economic zones as opposed to the mention of a 10 nation confederacy...the EU has more than 10 nations.

It all depends on how many of those 80 million elegible voters who didn’t vote in the 2004 elections we can get motivated to vote for McCain/Palin. The last general election had about 60 per cent registered voters voting, how many of the 40 per cent can we get to vote this time for Republicans? We will need to draw from those ranks to overwhelm the fraud that is already in place!

He loves Israel, and He will keep His covenant with them, but that did not prevent the destruction of the temple, the exile to Babylon, or any of the other well-known disasters which befell the people of Israel when they did not serve Him and His will.
What happened to Israel can very well happen to America.
What I need is someone to lay hands on my TV to keep Obama’s stealth ads from popping up. Can’t keep him in his cage. I locked him out three different ways and he still pops back on channels I locked out. I think Dish TV cut a deal with him to make it possible for him to run a commercial on a channel regardless if he is blocked out. I object. I called Dish and complained and they said tough sh__!
