A man who fought Communists in Vietnam is now supporting and endorsing a Communist. Amazing.
It is clear now that Colin Powell was NEVER honest with the American people or the Bush Administration as to who he really is.
Colin Powell is a Socialist/Marxist, and has just evaporated any admiration or respect I could have mustered for him.
I saw Powell speak about a year ago as part of a local lecture series. He seemed greatly concerned about his legacy. He seemed to want to be congratulated for having the “right” opinions, and to be loved by the mostly liberal audience in attendance.
This is a terminal disease, I’m afraid.
Powell revealed who he was years ago when people thought he might run for office. George Will had an excellent article confronting him on his statements such as “I am a fiscal conservative, but a social liberal.”
So why did many “conservatives” choose to ignore such statements like that from Powell when they would have hung out to dry other politicians who made similar statements.
Note that Rice has said that an Obama Presidency wouldn’t be dangerous for the country.
