Powell endorsed Obama..go figure :)No cares. Good riddance.
Agree..its really bizzare!!
“Nothing to do with race”?
SOMETHING TO DO WITH POWER?
Why did he always say that MPcCAIN was a long time friend?
Why did he accept to work in the BUSH administration ?
Isn’t CURIOUS ?
LOL!
Hilarious...Now Obama is Bush’ fault? Wow..yeah, that is twisted logic, at best.
My original post was reply to Bush is good man.
Powell endorses Obama, he is either a fool or is playing both sides of the fence
Good points..this is beyond race..it is an ideological war and cultural/class war....How long can the working citizens keep paying through the nose for Katrina whiners and the entitlement Great Society?
Whoops...sorry - gotta agree with you on Bush being a good man!
THAT black one! "
You guys forgot. Can't use the middle name, remember?
Becki
Powell is a disgusting disengenious little man. Note how he perfectly echos Empty Suits talking points.
my post could have been clearer.
On Powell endorsing bambi, should disqualify him from further office when bambi loses.
Please see my post #107. If anything, once and for all the WORLD should see what is is about - look at Ferraro’s statement. If anything, this will embolded fence-sitting “whiteys” to feel liberated and vote for “our” people.
“Paging Reverend Wright...”
Affirmative action expert,I wouldn’t expect anything different from this bozo, military man bullshit.
Post #107 is not yours. What did Ferraro say?
That's an understatement if I ever heard one.
If it weren't for Bush there would be NOBAMA.
Without Bush, McCain or almost any REAL pub is up by at least 10 points in the polls.
There is no doubt Colin Powell’s endorsement of Obama will nail down the black vote for Obama.
Negro slavery sucked, but white America fought a bloody war in which over a million whites died which was at least partly about the future of Negro slavery and which resulted in the ending of that slavery. That should be the end of the story.
It's as if elite Americans need something to feel as guilty about as two or three generations of Germans were expected to feel about the Nazi regime, WWII and the partially successful extermination of the German jews.
We are at a point where a man, with no background to speak of who wants to take this country down the path of socialism, has been called Presidential.
On the other side we have a man who has sacrificed mightily for this country, spent years doing what he thought was right and good for this country, yet he is being portrayed as angry and backwards looking.
I guess the only good thing I can think of that has come out of this,is that it has shown which side of this issue people really stand.
When the dust settles and it is time to clean the house,we will really know where to start.
Remember.....You heard it here first.;)))
Another maverick.
My dad never did like Powell. In 1996, I said that Powell should run for President and he just rolled his eyes.
When he was SoS, my dad liked him less. He said that Colon was an appropriate name for him.
