Thanks for all your comments, coming from someone who knows the area. They are very helpful in putting this whole event into context.
It looks like a beautiful city, from these photos.
Do you recall if the Pope drew a crowd that large when he was in St. Louis?

I wonder how they are going to feel when, once in office, Obama says he can’t make the numbers work on his big tax plan, so he’s lowering the limit to $75,000 - anyone making over $75K now bears the burden of being called rich and supporting those who don’t pay taxes......

When you go to the actual picture the dimensions look quite different.
In the linked picture in the article the crowd seems to stretch out for some distance.
When you go to the actual picture the crowds seems much closer.
Also there is a fence line around Obama which makes the crowd inside look larger than it is.
It's a very large crowd, but I don't think it's 100,000

Or if McCain gets elected and we have our first Trillion Dollar deficit and noone wants US debt anymore to pay for his tax cuts. That would be much better, obviously.

Why is there a dark line running through the crowd??That's the break where I-70 runs, separating the two big patches of land.
I think it's a shadow from the Arch. Here's pic of the area.

The trees are clearly visible on either side of the crowd. This picture is the real McCoy.

Instead of focusing on visiting undecided he runs back to the safety of his koolaid drinking 0bots. Bill Ayers' friend, Barack, is supposed to be up by 14 points in Wisconsin, but is scheduled for an event next week. Why is he wasting his time in WI?

Don’t assume that everyone in that crowd is eligible to vote.

Thanks. I hope that most of those 100,000 who greeted the Pope in 1999 are still around to vote for the Pro-life ticket on Nov. 4.
