I'm always amazed when people remember the things I write on threads. I don't know whether to be flattered..or creeped out! That being said..yes, there have been many times I thought the race to be over..I just can't see overcoming all the crap that's thrown at us 24/7. And then something happens, like Sarah Palin and everything is new again...But then it starts again. Yes, I have been guilty of that.

But in the last few days we have seen a bit of a turn...a turn for the better and my spirits were lifted. And you have to admit that this would be very bad for McCain. It just would.

Actually, I don’t agree. This is “dog bites man”... everyone is expecting the black guy to go with his fellow tribe member.

I’m sure that it must have been a highly coveted and influential slot with only three shows until the election, did he just call them up and ask for it?

However, military men are also members of a “tribe.” And Obama is so off that reservation that, again, it would be the ultimate betrayal...on so many levels.

Kerry lined up tons of military endorsements, even after his post-Nam antics.

It seems to me to be more than just a bit of a coward to wait till 2 weeks before the election and then endorse the supposed front runner Obama.

Which leads me to another point that should be made... How many people in America don't make up their minds simply because they want to vote for the winner on election day and be part of that scene rather than cast a vote for the loser?

That probably goes a long way in explaining the MSM BS polls and why this point is never talked about. I am certain there is a sizable percentage of “undecideds” who vote in this way. Idiots.

You said:
Stupid statement!!
If he helps win the election, we should all care what he thinks.

So the ends justify the means?
Sounds like a liberal statement.

The leftists would be happy if Ronald McDonald threw in his support for 0bama.

It is not as important as you think.

And by the way, he was a crap Sec of State.

Ugh, if he's his frigging friend, then why endorse Obama. I mean come on, why do this to your “friend”.

RE: “I’m beginning to think that it’s all coming down anyway, no matter who is in charge. I really am. I have to let go of all of this or I will make myself physically sick. And I don’t want to do that.”

Agree! I was just thinking tonight that I have to stop this addiction to election news and hoping McCain wins purely because we cannot have this Marxist taking over. But I don’t want to make myself sick over it and that’s where I’m heading. I need to calm down. OH, and I do think Powell will endorse Obama.

I honestly think if it wasn't "A Black Thing" it would matter a lot, but honestly I think most Americans will see it, sadly, for what it is, my people over yours right or wrong.

That’s what I mean by betrayal. Apparently, they are good friends...it shows the measure of a man’s character..But again, I will not cast aspersions until Sunday when we actually hear it.

I agree with you. I'm in Hawaii, so when I wake up on Sunday it will be everywhere. I look forward a positive development, I HOPE.

Take a look at the foundations he and his wife are running. I suspect that his heart is with Barry but he'll do what's best for his interests.

Unfortunately, McCain tips his hand on every strategic move he makes. If he’s not tipping it now I would be worried. It won’t matter to us because we all need to show up on Nov.4 and vote against the ONE.

The US government never goes backwards. If we move any further towards socialism it can’t be undone. We soon will have a majority of citizens that don’t pay any federal income tax. That block is going to vote lock step for more goodies. Entitlements become just that.....entitled toes.

Gotta pray and press your friends and any one that will listen about where we are headed. I send the Cloward Piven Strategy article to everyone I know. I am waiting until at least Fox news does a special on that little diddy!

WSJ had a great article today too.

Having thought about this it doesn't make sense for Powell not to inform either the McCain or Obama camps that he was making an endorsement of either in less than 2 days.

Now assuming he did you'd think this thing would have leaked out.

Since it hasn't I'm of the opinion that no endorsement is forthcoming.

I hope Powell comes out for McCain.

If he states that is it because of Obama’s anti-American pal like Wright, Ayers, Odinga it will be truely devastating.
