No Barack. You just quit. You don’t “cut yourself some slack” because you’re running for President. Millions of Americans have everyday pressures that are just as difficult for them. If you want to quit, you quit. You don’t “bum one” here and there. You either smoke or you don’t and don’t make any apologies for it either way.

Why doesn't the "ObaMarlboro Man" simply tax cigarette smokers--- instead of plumbers? Oh, wait...

A Freeper once shared with us that when one is quitting smoking, they are always quitting smoking. Kind of like alcohol.

He said the key was to “become a non-smoker”. At one point in my life a chose to “become a smoker”, now I needed to chose to “become a non-smoker”.

I didn’t “try” to quit. I became something totally different. That was two years ago. When I chose to become a non-smoker, I never had one again. No urges, withdrawals, no temptation.

Of course praying is key to wanting to become anything too.
