According to the complaint, Mr. Connor reviewed the appraisal of the Rezko property by another firm, Adams Appraisal, which had set the value at $625,000. Mr. Connor's complaint said that he told his bosses in a report that the property had been overvalued by at least $125,000 and that a "reasonable and fair evaluation" should have been no greater than $500,000.

“A note from another RezkoWatcher, who actually provided the property records from WestLaw, indicates that there were no other property records available for the “Rezko” lot at 5050 South Greenwood Avenue prior to June 2005. “Rita Rezko is the first and only non trust or corporate owner of this vacant land. This means the land was not legally partitioned until closing.” Both a lawyer and a realtor confirmed that there is nothing unusual about that.”
