In May, the presidential campaign of 72-year-old cancer survivor John McCain tried to put to rest doubts about his health by allowing a few reporters to inspect his medical records, but the effort has failed to quell questions about his odds of surviving an eight-year tenure in the White House.

Just Obama trying to rile up the Anti-Palin crowd.
“I was wondering, if Obama’s gay lover Larry Sinclair is HIV positive now, was he positive in 1999 when he and Obama had gay sex and did cocaine in the back of that limousine in Chicago?”
You know, I’m going to have to ask for forgiveness in my prayers tonight. Because my firs thought after reading that is: “I hope so.”
Mom taught me to never wish ill on others. Sorry mom.
The hospital where I work employs a surgeon who is over 80 years old and is one of the best surgeons you could have. I’ve seen him cure many terrible wounds and save many a life.
Age can also mean experience you know. McCain has 25 years in the Senate, Obama working on 4.
Right off the top the premise is wrong. McCain needs to win the first term before he can even think of a second. There is no statute (or moral obligation) of any sort that if one runs for the Presidency that one is obligated to be healthy enough to serve for two terms. This is really beyond belief.
Next question from the MSM. “Let’s see Joe the Plumber’s health records”.
I know what you mean. It is hard to show restraint and not tempt karma when talking about a group of people who see the worst in our country and delight when people have suffered the past several years so that they can gain some sort of political advantage.
Did Obama fry his brains with drugs? Enquiring minds want to know.
Release his health records!
We only elect our Presidents for 4 years, so his 8 year prognosis is immaterial.
HIPAA. Yeah, IIRC Clinton pushed that thru, Right? Billy Jeff never released his records either. Damned shame for algore that the heart attack happened after 2000.
McCain? What about Barack Hussein Obama? As a Black man, he is more prone to high blood pressure, sickle cell anemia, heart disease and AIDS. I’d say we need to investigate his medical background.
I think he has already said he wants only one term.
McCain isn’t doing 8 yrs. Governor Palin can run after his first and only term. He knows that is all he needs to do.
So I guess Biden’s history of aneurisms isn’t a concern, although with some of the things Joe comes up with, he might want to have his head examined again. Having slanted eyes these days can’t be helping with the blood flow that much.
Obama is an admitted drug user, and smoker. He should release his medical records.
When McCain’s campaign was strapped for cash, I saw a video of his carrying his own bags in the airport. I admit at that moment I knew I could vote for him. I felt he had the stamina to be president.
Obama’s mother died of cancer at a young age, has any of the media asked about his risk factors?
And being married to Michelle-my-Belle sure isn't going to help with longevity.
Do these idiots not realize that the President has access to the best healthcare in the world? If he has so much as a headache, he’s going to get all kinds of tests. The odds of sudden death of a President are extremely small. Granted, he could get cancer, but even that’s likely to be detected early enough for surgery to “cure” or for other treatment to at least greatly prolong his life.
Or perhaps his high blood pressure from living with Michelle.
Or what about Biden’s brain?
Hmmmmm. Wonder what the wash post is so worried about. Does it look like their client, BO, is slipping in their internal polls? Why else would they drag this out and try to run it up the flagpole again? For the 12 time, by my own personal count. I think this is a positive development.
I’m a melanoma survivor. You either are cured or they tell you to go home and put your affairs in order because you’ll probably be dead in a year. My doc admits that the skin damage occurred 45 years ago and so although I use a 40 spwhatever, I don’t hide from the sun. You gotta die from something.
