Understanding Obama's hypnotic effects on his idiot supporters
several sources | several authors

From AsiaTimesOnline, Feb 26, 2008

excerpt from the article, Obama's women reveal his secret

Barack Obama received at least some instruction in the Islamic faith of his father and went with him to the mosque, but the importance of this experience is vastly overstated by conservative commentators who seek to portray Obama as a Muslim of sorts. Radical anti-Americanism, rather than Islam, was the reigning faith in the Dunham household. ...

Barack Obama is a clever fellow who imbibed hatred of America with his mother's milk, but worked his way up the elite ladder of education and career. He shares the resentment of Muslims against the encroachment of American culture, although not their religion. He has the empathetic skill set of an anthropologist who lives with his subjects, learns their language, and elicits their hopes and fears while remaining at emotional distance. That is, he is the political equivalent of a sociopath. The difference is that he is practicing not on a primitive tribe but on the population of the United States.

There is nothing mysterious about Obama's methods. "A demagogue tries to sound as stupid as his audience so that they will think they are as clever as he is," wrote Karl Krauss. Americans are the world's biggest suckers, and laugh at this weakness in their popular culture. Listening to Obama speak, Sinclair Lewis' cynical tent-revivalist Elmer Gantry comes to mind, or, even better, Tyrone Power's portrayal of a carnival mentalist in the 1947 film noire Nightmare Alley. The latter is available for instant viewing at Netflix, and highly recommended as an antidote to having felt uplifted by an Obama speech. ..."

Saul Alinsky, on 'Change'...

From Rules for Radicals, Alinsky outlines his strategy in organizing, writing:

"There's another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevsky said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution."[2]

Statement from Communist Party USA (CPUSA):

"The Communist Party USA views the 2008 elections as a tremendous opportunity to defeat the policies of the right-wing Republicans and to move our country in a new progressive direction.

The record turnout in the Democratic Presidential primary races shows that millions of voters, including millions of new voters, are using this election to bring about real change. We wholeheartedly agree with them."

Frank Marshall Davis

Obama’s Communist Mentor
AIM Column | By Cliff Kincaid | February 18, 2008

excerpt...

"through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his 'poetry' and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just 'Frank.'

The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations."

Frank Chapman, a CPUSA supporter, has written a letter to the party newspaper hailing the Illinois senator's victory in the Iowa caucuses:

"Obama’s victory was more than a progressive move; it was a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle. Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. This is the old revolutionary 'mole,' not only showing his traces on the surface but also breaking through."
People's Weekly World (PWW), official newspaper of the Communist Party, USA

It is even more sinister than you think. I’ve had chats w/ many FReepers about this. One of Obama’s main speechwriters is an expert on something known as Neuro Linguistic Programming and has written several books on it. Neuro Linguistic Programming is a way to psychologically manipulate (for good or bad) the listener though specific communication methods. Call it, hypnosis lite.

I wish it was as simple as him just BS'ing someone. Don't listen to the direct words he said, listen for what he does behind the words- rhythms, speech patterns, sounds or gestures he makes on specific words, the way he personalizes messages and uses imagery to make a thought stick in your mind.

Picture in your mind, for a moment, a cult leader. You've seen the videos on the news, how they speak, how all the followers seem glassy eyed listening to him. Remember how they all sat around, moving together, rocking or swaying. Think about how you wanted to slap them out of the trance and say wake up. They often aren't even in comfortable situations. Picture yourself where they are sitting, in a barn, field, wherever, listing to this leader. How can you hear with rationality in the uncomfortable situation, yet, they are doing it. Why don't those people get up and walk away? They are being manipulated with more than just the words you hear. There is a hidden message. Next time you listen or watch Obama, look for these things. Remember what you just pictured with the cult leader, then look at what is happening when Obama speaks. You will see the similarity and it is shocking.

Do you know the name of 0’s speechwriter who does NLP? I’d appreciate it.

Remember when 0 used his LEFT hand to salute the flag or during the national anthem? That’s a cute NLP trick.

Anyone who listened to Obama voters call into Sean Hannity today can immediately recognize that they have completely embraced Marxism. One old white redneck who called responded "sounds about right", when Sean said "do you agree with this statement: 'From each according to their ability, to each according to their needs'", a quote from The Communist Manifesto. They want Obama to "give me money". They believe that almost everything you can imagine is a "right" to be provided from government, from healthcare to dental, education to housing.

Electing Obama will set this nation back a generation.

NLP is precisely what this two-bit carny is using. He is just another angry Black Supremist, not separatist, mind you. A flat-out Communist.

If, somehow, we still manage to pull out victory, we will have dodged a bullet none of us had better forget.

emember when 0 used his LEFT hand to salute the flag or during the national anthem? That’s a cute NLP trick.

I have used NLP to help with personal changes that I've wanted to make, had probably 20 classes on it, but I don't see the techniques ? Could you be more specific ?

"In 1951, Jones began attending communist meetings and rallies in Indianapolis.[4] Jones became flustered at harassment he received during the McCarthy Hearings,[4] particularly, regarding meetings between Jones and his mother with Paul Robeson.[5] This, among other things, provoked a seminal moment for Jones where he asked himself "how can I demonstrate my Marxism? The thought was, infiltrate the church."[5][4]"

"In the summer of 1977, Jones and most of the 900 members of the People's Temple moved to Guyana from San Francisco after media pressure built.[25] Jones left the same night that an editor at New West magazine read Jones an article by Marshall Kilduff to be published detailing allegations by former Temple members.[25][16] Jones named the settlement Jonestown after himself.

Jones purported to establish Jonestown as a benevolent model communist community stating, 'I believe we’re the purest communists there are.' [26] Jones' wife, Marceline, described Jonestown as "dedicated to live for socialism, total economic and racial and social equality. We are here living communally."[26] Jones wanted to construct a model community to show others and stated that Prime Minister of Guyana Forbes Burnham 'couldn’t rave enough about us, uh, the wonderful things we do, the project, the model of socialism.'[27] In that regard, like the restrictive emigration policies of the then Soviet Union, Cuba, North Korea and other communist republics, Jones did not permit members to leave Jonestown.[28]

Jones and several members argued that the group should commit "revolutionary suicide" by drinking cyanide-laced grape flavored Flavor Aid (often misidentified as Kool-Aid) along with a sedative.[39]

One member, Christine Miller, dissents toward the beginning of the tape.[39] When members apparently cried, Jones counseled "Stop this hysterics. This is not the way for people who are Socialists or Communists to die. No way for us to die. We must die with some dignity."[39] Jones can be heard saying, "Don't be afraid to die" and, regarding death as "just stepping over into another plane" and that "[death is] a friend."[39] At the end of the tape, Jones concludes: "We didn't commit suicide, we committed an act of revolutionary suicide protesting the conditions of an inhumane world."[39] Children were given the drink first and families were told to lie down together. The mass suicide had been discussed in simulated events called "White Nights" on a regular basis, while members drank liquid Jones first told them was poison during at least one of those White Nights.

The left hand salute is new to me, but there are several obvious ones Obama uses. Just a few examples that jump out: Using the Milton Model, making vague statements after having the listener visualize a siutation, thus, putting themselves in the situation. He is always changing up and using listerner’s represenational systems (not sticking to one when speaking to a large audience, focusing on one (Now Look w/ McCain for example), when dealing with one person trying to get a reaction out of them.) Visual Imagery, he always paints pictures of concepts. Rhythm in speaking. Swish moments, like suddenly changing subject, hitting a podium, etc. He uses the ‘six step reframe’ often when he tries to sway undecided, the behavior to change is not supporting him. Value reframing when he tries to make a negative aspect appear positive.. etc.. IMHO, using the six step reframe is one of the more sinister if you watch for it.
