Their customer base also excludes most of Obama's younger voters. Don't make too much of that. All you need is an AOL Instant Messenger account, not one of the paid internet access accounts. This means a user could in theory vote more than once for free, but it's probably unlikely. Also, lots of younger people have AIM accounts; it's only tapered off among college students within the past couple of years.

It's only because of election fraud, that it is even close, and Nobama may pull off stealing it. The Supreme Court just gave Ohio permission to cheat!
.
Its not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you that theyve got the chance at success too, Obama told Wurzelbacher. I think that when you spread the wealth around, its good for everybody....

The Weekly Reader Poll started September 22 and will continue thru October 24. On Wednesday, October 29, Zogby and Weekly Reader will jointly announce the winner. I sure hope it’s McCain.

AOL tends to trend left. I’m surprised.

That poll won't last online longer than the half life of a soap bubble.
Enjoy it while you can still see it. LOL
The FReepathon Challenge has been extended to 10/20/08 12:01am. (I wasn't able to focus and push the effort like I wanted to by the 15th. Let's go for it.)

Hey, we're almost done with this quarter's FReepathon. The goal will be reached within a few days.
We have extended the FReepathon Challenge. It's a way for you to donate and get some of your funds matched. Those who have volunteered to become a Charter Member of the FReepathon Challenge, will pay a certain amount if certain levels are reached. Read about it at the link.
If you would like your donation to be augmented for the benefit of retiring the FReepathon more quickly, join in the FReepathon Challenge by clicking on the right part of the above graphic.
We'd love to have you join as a charter member too, if you'd like.
If you wouldn't care to be a part of the FReepathon Challenge, but you'd just like to chip in to help retire the FReepathon more quickly, please click on the left part of the above graphic.
Happy trails FReepers...

With over 6,000 votes in now, McCain has lost some ground... 73-25! NOBAMA has picked up 11 EVs and is now behind 527-11!
Still looking good though. If it continues with this trend when it starts to reach 100,000, things will be looking bleak for O’Bama Bin Biden, considering he lost their last poll 54-43.
That would HAVE to show that NOBAMA supporters are starting to RUN AWAY... RUN AWAY!

That poll won't last online longer than the half life of a soap bubble. They left up the last one with McCain winning 54-43 and almost a quarter of a million votes!

Actually no, I don’t. But I did check it out after your post just to see what was up with them.

I’ll be happy if they do, but with a 75/25 scenario, I would tend to doubt it. It’s just my perception, but I could be pleasantly surprised. I hope I am.
Thanks for the mention. I wasn’t aware of that.

the last one with McCain winning 54-43 How did the states look? About what you would expect from an 11-point GOP popular win, or was it weird?
To: RogerWilko
Any idea how this poll came out leading up to the 2004 election?
To: rhinohunter
Right now McCain is carrying every state except Nebraska. Anybody have a Nebraska ping list?
To: RogerWilko
If its an online poll, you have to realize that a large portion of Zero’s voting base is illiterate and for sure computer illiterate.

I found this FR thread that showed
58-40 Bush KerryIt's from August though. I couldn't find a later one. But if McCain is UP 73-26 and those numbers hold, that CAN'T be a bad thing!
Seems like that should be able to equate into AT LEAST a 5-10% win with that kind of spread.
To: RogerWilko
With around 14,000 votes, McCain is still UP 71-27% and has ALL 538 EV. If this poll ends up finishing anywhere near these numbers, NOBAMA will have lost HUGE support from their last poll.
To: Puppage
Ah...but the little kids chose Kerry last time to win. Just proves that majority of the teachers in this country shove their liberal views upon our children. My kid was the only one in her 3rd grade class to choose Bush in 04. These kids taking this poll have been wrong 4 times in other elections. From what I gather AOL only allows one vote per user. So stick a fork in that theory cowboy.
