I lived in Grand Junction from December, 2000 to May, 2002. Interesting place. I loved looking at the Monument and the Grand Mesa from my windows. I was there on 9-11, and everyone on my street were hanging outside all day all upset. Overall, most of the people I knew there seemed pretty conservative, so I would imagine a huge turnout on Monday.

I'm under orders from several co-workers to take "good pictures" for them.
Now I just have to tell my boss that I'll be missing most of Monday. ;o)

I hope so. We've had huge growth because of natural gas, and they are not all conservatives anymore.We actually have all Dems as our state reps now. There are even a fair number of Obama signs, especially around the college.

They'll be out in force Monday, I wouldn't doubt, especially since the college (as you probably remember) is right across the street.

Yes, I am very glad they are coming back to Colorado, and I hope Gov Palin will “help” Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave. She is attacked constantly by 527 groups and her last election she just barely won, in what use to be a very conservative district.
