A long, but necessary read. Would recommending forwarding this link to all thinking Americans. It is almost undeniable that Bill Ayers had a significant role in writing Obama's first book. This is the best detective story I have read in a long time.

In the acknowledgment section of his 2004 book, Resurrecting Empire, Khalidi writes of Ayers, "Bill was particularly generous in letting me use his family's dining room table to do some writing for the project." Khalidi did not need the table. He had one of his own. He needed the help.

From Khalidi's book "Resurrecting Empire" p. 212 ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS...(first paragraph, first two sentences)...

..."There are many people without whose support and assistance I could not have written this book, or written it in a way that it was written. First, chronologically and in other ways, comes Bill Ayers."

Bill POS Ayers BUMP!

(Obama) Under water grottos, caverns
Filled with apes
That eat figs.
Stepping on the figs
That the apes
Eat, they crunch.
The apes howl, bare
Their fangs, dance . . .

Underground Chicago, 'hoods
Filled with thugs
That push Acorn
Dancing with Acorn
That the thugs
Push, and register
The thugs rap, bare
Weapons, Fall Down
And go "Boom!

The couple had given up revolution in 1980 for the long slow march through the institutions.

They bought into The Frankfurt School plan.

Here's the point. If Obama can't admit his true ties to Ayers, Ayers can blackmail Obama.

"The couple had given up revolution in 1980 for the long slow march through the institutions."

They may have given up, for the time being at least, the idea of 'armed' revolution, since they now realize it isn't feasible or perhaps even necessary any longer, but they are still very much in favor of communism.

Bill Ayers TODAY (April 6, 2008):

"Imperialism. I’m against it, and if Sean Hannity and others were honest, this is the ground they would fight me on. Capitalism played its role historically and is exhausted as a force for progress: built on exploitation, theft, conquest, war, and racism, capitalism and imperialism must be defeated and a world revolution—a revolution against war and racism and materialism, a revolution based on human solidarity and love, cooperation and the common good —must win.

We begin by releasing our most hopeful dreams and our most radical imaginations: a better world is both possible and necessary.

"a better world is both possible and necessary"

Looks to me like Bill Ayers stole (or borrowed) this phrase from Bob Avakian, chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party. Both the Weather Underground and RCP have roots in the radical Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) organization.

"The following is an excerpt from an historic talk by [Revolutionary Communist Party] Chairman Bob Avakian, soon to be available on video and DVD from Three Q Productions-REVOLUTION: Why It's Necessary, Why It's Possible, What It's All About. This talk, delivered in 2003, followed by questions and answers, is a wide- ranging revolutionary journey, covering many topics."

"On Progressive Education, Critical Thinking and the Cowardice of Some in Dangerous Times"

From Investor's Business Daily (IBD), August 27, 2008:

"Ayers, now a tenured distinguished professor of education at UIC, works to educate teachers in socialist revolutionary ideology, urging that it be passed on to impressionable students.

One of Ayer's descriptions for a course called 'Improving Learning Environments' says prospective K-12 teachers need to 'be aware of the social and moral universe we inhabit and ... be a teacher capable of hope and struggle, outrage and action, teaching for social justice and liberation.'

The Annenberg papers are quite extensive — 132 boxes containing 947 file folders with 70 linear feet of material. They undoubtedly contain more surprises regarding Obama's relationship with Ayers, one of many relationships Obama has sought to hide."

Don’t those who hate Israel/Jews use the phrase ‘apes’ derisively to describe them? Makes me wonder if we can trust
Ubie’s statement that he will be ‘a friend to Israel’—things that make you go hmmmmmmm....

Amazing that the media, who managed to uncover that Joe the Plumber doesn’t have a plumbing license, has a tax lien, and is on their way to getting his divorce records, hasn’t managed to uncover a single college paper or an article Obama wrote. Amazing, I tell you.

I read it and the connections in the writing style are sufficiently vague that unless Ayers or Obama come right out and admit that Ayers wrote the book this is a non issue.

Excellent material for a new McCain ad.

To me, the conclusive thing is that at some point in Obama’s supposed “autobiography,” the author notes that the characters are composites. You don’t have composites in your own autobiography, unless you are uncertain about these people because you have never met them and are getting the source from somebody else, or unless you are writing a complete work of fiction because it’s not your autobiography and you’re not even officially working as a ghost with the supposed subject.

Obama may have produced an outline in Bali, and Ayers filled it in. Obama is neither a good writer nor a good speaker on his own, and his wife couldn’t have helped him because her published work (her thesis) is so incoherent and ungrammatical that her husband’s “autobiographies” would have been way beyond her.
