No, he did not. Actually the quotes was that Bill clinton stated that Obama was qualified to be President. A US Citizen and over 35.

Bill Clinton's words ... just quoted by McCain.

Told the hubby I guess only an elist could understand this “joke”.

I understood it, but it came off really snooty, like he's just so famous that he can't go any where without having his picture taken.

He did have a couple of good jokes (I did think the one about him hanging out with a bad crowd that turned out of be congress was pretty funny), but he doesn't know how to deliver comedy. There were a couple of times that instead of waiting for the laughs he just got louder. Comedy is not his strong suit.
