GALLUP's 'traditional' likely voter model shows Obama with a two-point advantage over McCain on Thursday, 49% to 47%, this is within poll's margin of error... Developing...
You mean give up? LOL even Mondale didn't lose by 20...silly statement.
RE: “I grew up in LA, and was there for the 92 riots (I have since escaped to the south). The only thing city dwellers will have to fear is abdominal strain from laughter when they burn their own slums down, then demand rebuilding projects.
The best one of all was when the Crenshaw post office was burned down, and then they all lined up the next day outside the smoldering remains demanding that the government replace the welfare checks which were destroyed in the post office...they had burned it down the day before they were to be delivered.”

Thanks for the memories! I’m still here in the belly of the beast known as L.A. We were all under a big curfew for days as a result of that ‘92 rioting, but as you say “they” never did leave their own neighborhoods to do damage. One wonders what will happen this time, as win or lose, there could be riots by the minority Zero fans. I’m really beginning to think I need to get out of CA, regardless.
We need a big hootenanny with Hank Jr., Lee Greenwood, John Rich, Charlie Daniels, Joe the Plumber, Herman Cain, Thomas Sowell, all appearing with McCain and Palin. We can have Todd riding his snow machine on video. Oh, and be sure to tell Madonna that she ain’t invited!
Yeah, we’ve only won five of the last seven Presidential elections.
You might be right. Everyone's talking about Joe the Plumber but I'm betting after the last debate many more Americans are learning about Bill the Bomber. I'm still guessing there are millions of Americans who have little knowledge of Obama's terrorist connections.
Not quite but when Brit quoted Gallop moments ago he recited yesterday's numbers adding the race is tightening. Disappointed they didn't do better research.
Not a peep from MSNBC who kept quoting Gallop on a daily basis.
McCain had a good night Wednesday. He just plain did. This is a dead-heat.

There has been a tremendous effort today, some from unexpected sources, attempting to paint last night as an Obama victory. Rush called it a clear win for McCain and said that he did not see all the great stuff that people were claiming for Obama. I think Rush is right this time.
Not quite. I want them in a stranglehold baby! I want every last breath squeezed out of their pathetic socialists bodies!
MORE JOE THE PLUMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I honestly believe that would be the case if Obama got anything less than 100% of the vote.
I think McCain should ask Joe the Plumber to join him on the stump! The guys is totally cool!
New McCain ad: “Joe the Plumber” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmZ3o0Di7Go
I plan to do the same thing, regardless of who wins.
Yes he should! He has a chance to rip the middle class right out of that sleezeballs hands, along with older people with investments that are sitting stagnant because of capital gains.
He needs a small army of financial experts describing the benefits that a community would enjoy if suddenly hundreds of millions of dollars worth of rental properties changed hands as a result of a lowering in capital gains.
These are both investments AND small businesses, and every town has apartment buildings the owners would like to get out of were it not for cap gains...heck, the bonanza that big cities would reap from getting all this capital moving if the rate was lowered to 20%ish would fill the coffers to where they could drop every other tax.
President Bush saved us from financial ruin, 1st from the recession that he was handed, 1st by Toon, and immediately after by 911, a Wall St. disaster with potential to be 100 times worse than this one, stopped dead in it's tracks by lowering the tax rates for EVERYONE who pay taxes, which resulted in MUCH MORE TAX REVENUE.
Had it not been for an expensive counter attack and truckloads of pork, we might have wiped out the deficit along with Al Qaeda.
McCain is making a huge mistake by not exposing the 7 years of rat & media lies. He did say a few times that the reason he didn't back Bush on the tax cuts was because of the pork, but he never follows through and presents the evidence that lowering tax rates did in fact raise tax revenue, dramatically so. He says he'll expose every author of every pork bill if and when...WTH IS HE WAITING FOR!? NAME EM! NAME EM NOW, starting with Sept. 11, 2001, when we needed to rebuild our economy, so we'll know who else to get rid of in a couple weeks. Obama & the media has him afraid to admit he's a Republican, and that on that one (of many) Bush Doctrines, ol George knew wtf he was talking about.
wow im pumped up! lol
DUmmiecrats’ Heads explode lol
“Dont expect to ever see McCain up the rest of this election in the polls even if it will be a landslide for McCain.”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Yea, verily, let us climb the mountains and shout to the multitudes lest they forget that in 2004 the media were all convinced that John Kerry was winning handily the night of the election. I well remember that comedy of errors, they are still claiming that Bush stole that election as well as the one in 2000.
Remember Rush is right 98.6% of the time.
It’s a little early, but not too much. The polling people have to bring the polls into reality now. If they wait until the last minute their clients know they were screwing with the number until the end for their own political purposes. If they are consistent for a couple of weeks, then they can say they were right all along.
They needed an event to use as their excuse to bring the polls inline and the last debate is their final foreseeable event. This is good news because it means the media and pollsters don’t expect an October surprise is coming on McCain so they had to use the debate.
That should mean a steady rise in the polls for McCain over the next weeks as we get to election day and then it’ll be a dead heat for the final two days and the pollsters who want to be “the most accurate” will have McCain up on election day.
The media, however, will continue to have Obama ahead until election day because they are dreaming of riots in the streets - they want an all out race war and anarchy. Makes for good ratings. Psychotic.
YES! (= GO McCain/Palin!!! Yep, alot can happen to gain a victory for us in 2+ weeks, folks! Never stop fighting.
The truth is so refreshing, eh? The dems are scratching their corrupt, insecure heads and saying “But, but, wow, we rigged all those online polls and haver 90% of the leftisdt media on our side and thought we could have an better impact on our dumbified voters” ((LOL))
