I ‘got it’ when I first read your post - a lot of my own humor is on the subtle side, and there are plenty of folks here who appreciate that art form, but I’ve found that throwing in a /s or similar can help reduce the flamethrowing by those who don’t...

I’ve given up on people picking up on my dry sense of humor. Sorry. But there are a lot of people who are honestly confused by the Ohio law. Including, it would seem, most of the media -- who are congenitally incapable of performing elementary research.
