The crawling text on ABC news early this morning said that Joe the Plumber isn’t even registered to vote in OH. Has anyone seen that confirmed or refuted? That would be embarassing.

That is not embarrassing, Joe the Plumber, is actually Joe the American.

I actually told my sister (the political neophyte) about Joe the Plumber, and how Obama actually told him that he would "spread the wealth". This was before last nights debate, and she was appalled! She said that she did not want Obama "spreading her wealth", and she could do that just fine on her own!

She truly was one of the undecideds leaning toward Obama (she liked how he spoke). She is now voting for McCain!

I saw the interview with Diane Sawyer. She asked Joe pointedly if he is registered and he said he is. Joe also told her he does know who he’s voting for but that it is private and he’s not saying. However, with him calling Obama socialist, one can reasonably deduce he’s voting for MaC.

As stupid as it is, Joe can now register and vote on the same day in Ohio. So if the media wants to make a big deal out of that, they can follow him down to the polling place with their cameras and film him casting an early ballot for McCain "because he won the debate" or "because Obama is a socialist," as Joe will tell them.

That issue just won't work for them.
